TO AVOID!! NO DEPOSIT REFUND (1 000 £) LIKE OTHER COMMENTS

We rented a motorhome for a week up to July 15th 2024. When we handed it back only a cover light was missing (15£) and ECS MOTORHOMES refused illegally to sign the return sheet (we had to leave as we are french tourist). As there was no other damage I tried to get the deposit refund two weeks after we left and they refused explaining that they noted scuffs and they want to charge us an immobilization fee of 215£ for a cover light what a joke ! We had multiple issues during our stay as boiler working irregularly, AdBlue warning, an empty bootle of gas only after two days of use. We had to buy another one (30£) with no compensation even though it was part of our package... We are clearly absused and then had no choice to get in touch with local authorities as we refuse to be fooled that way. It's on going.

Please have a look to the pictures in order to prove that it is not a fake comment and note the only missing cover light on the left hand side...

We had an amazing trip, but the return is not going well. We haven’t received our deposit, which amounts to 2000 euros for us!!! It’s been over three months of waiting, caught between lies and promises of reimbursement.

Firstly Great communication from the team , Secondly Beautiful Motorhome with all lovely interior all the mod cons really just like a modern house very comfortable beds too , everything on board as well so really didn’t have to bring anything, Karen was great too taking the time to show us round and making sure we were comfortable with everything. Thank guys

THEY ROBBED US !! ECS Motorhome and Karen blatantly REFUSED to return our €2000 deposit, even though we caused ZERO DAMAGE. Karen has been completely ignoring our messages and is holding onto the entire deposit like a THIEF. This is a CRIMINAL act !!

To anyone reading this: Scotland is a breathtaking country with amazing people, but whatever you do, AVOID ECS Motorhome and Karen. They’ll RUIN your trip and leave you with nothing but frustration and anger.

Just back from a brilliant 10 days in a home from home! Everything we could need and more. Easy booking process and Karen explained everything we needed to know and supplied videos incase of information overload or incase we hit any snags during our trip. Everything spotless. Would definitely book again. Even the weather was kind. 10/10

We rented the motorhome last year for a week. They kept our deposit of €1,200 because they are still fixing the mirror protection that broke during the trip. Nevertheless after almost a year they payback our deposit. I hope they improve the communication in the future.

Alquilamos la autocaravana en Agosto del año pasado durante una semana. Se quedaron nuestro depósito de 1200€ porque aún seguían arreglando la protección del retrovisor que se rompió durante el viaje. No obstante, después de casi un año nos devolvieron el depósito. Espero que mejoren la comunicación en el futuro.
