Missed my appointment and had to stay in Grand forks. Recommended by a friend who stayed here. I stayed in lots of other Motels, hotels etc but this Motel I found pretty clean, organized, WiFi boosters, Full Fridge etc. washrooms are 100% mint. It is fully comfortable and private. I didn't expect it but I was wrong. I loved this place. We are staying here right now in 109... !! Loving it. Gurmeet

Nice comfortable beds, got in late due to an accident on the highway and the hotel was kind enough to offer us an upgraded room! We stayed there as we had a quick hockey visit to Grand Forks but would highly recommend, it's not super fancy but it's clean and comfortable!

Finally, a locally owned motel that is actually making an effort! Property looked like it was being updated, was tidy, and had well cared for flowers in all the planters. Had a nice outdoor area with a provided bbq and tables. The room was very clean and clearly updated. Newer carpet and countertops along with a microwave, Kureg, and a nearly full size fridge/freezer combo. Bathroom was in great shape and the shower head worked perfectly, which is unusual for any hotel. This was a great place to stay!

This is a fairly basic motel -- no pool or significant entertainment amenities. My room was quite cramped with two double beds and a desk and chair, but clean and without strong odours of any kind. There was an ironing board, iron and hair dryer included, a surprising bonus. The refrigerator was new and of generous size -- apartment size, not the little half-size ones. The air conditioner was not new -- rather noisy but very functional. I think the separate small room for toilet and shower would be a real plus for two or three people staying in this room. ||The welcome was friendly but not overbearing and I really appreciated the cold bottles of water when checking in! The Western Traveller Motel is quite central, west of 'the bridge' but within walking distance of the town centre. Surprisingly, though next to the highway, it was extremely quiet.

Pretty decent place to stay. I usually find motels to be dingy and uncomfortable, but this was a rare exception. Rooms are basic but the beds are comfortable and it doesn't feel unclean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Location is good woth easy access.

Good choice for budget accommodations in Grand Forks. One unique feature.. full size fridges . Given the limited dining options and location great for those in road trips etc. Room was quiet but the AC was needed in the 30 C heat . I get the sense the owners are committed to improving the property.

I absolutely detest staying at hotels, I prefer to be in my truck (long haul driver). But this weekend I needed a proper place to hang out whilst waiting out some storms, and I have to say, I do NOT regret it. The owner is super sweet, the rooms are comfy and currently being updated. They have been very gracious and accommodating to my semi parking, my little puppers, and I even got to enjoy a stunningly delicious, homemade meal. Definitely above and beyond any other hotel I have stayed at, I highly recommend staying here.

One of the best motels I've ever stayed in, and the only one I've ever felt motivated to write a review of in a long career of working out of motels. Reading old one star reviews, I must assume the motel has changed ownership, as the proprietors are lovely, and incredibly accommodating. They even went out of their way and discounted a more expensive room to ensure we were on the ground floor so that we didn't have to haul our tools upstairs.
The rooms are immaculate, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are hot.
