First off, I want to clarify that this negative review is not directed at the owner, Adriana. She is incredibly sweet, hardworking, and professional. I’ve never had a bad experience with her or Jeff, the manager. However, I feel genuinely sorry that Adriana has to deal with disrespectful and incompetent staff, particularly someone named Tony.

Long story short: My staff accidentally left something in a truck that was previously rented. While returning another truck, I politely inquired if the item had been found. I had already provided the details of the earlier rental to the morning shift, so I was following up to get more information. Tony, who was the first person I tried to talk to, claimed no one had informed him of anything and pointed in a direction and said go call Jeff on Monday. I said I’d wait to speak with someone inside since he seemed to have zero clue what was going on, nor did he seem to care. He said "we're all out here there's no one inside." Um yeah man I understand that, that's why I said I'd wait. This is when I realize that this man's got the underdeveloped brain capacity of a 4 year old.

As I tried to clarify some details, he responds with, “I just told you.” His tone once again caught me off guard, and I kind of do a double take like is this dude really gonna keep talking to me like this...? When I called him out on his tone, told him to take it down a notch and be respectful his response was, “What if that’s just how I talk?” My thought: maybe fix it? There's definitely more to it as he was just insanely rude from the second I hopped out the truck, but this man couldn't even last a day at McDonald's with the way he speaks and handles customers. Even other customers around me were telling me he's got a screw loose.

I eventually walked inside with the owner Adriana, who I wanted to assist me to begin with. She was too embarrassed to even speak and apologized on his behalf multiple times. And guess what? News flash: she helped me, the way I expected to be helped from the get go. Adriana, I want to apologize to you again for raising my voice and arguing with your staff in front of you and other customers. It’s not in my character, but I will not tolerate disrespect, especially from a guy that moves trucks forward and backwards for a living.

Tony’s behavior is dragging your business down. If someone on my team acted that way in front of me, my business, or my clients, they’d be gone immediately. I hope this matter is addressed appropriately. You and Jeff work too hard to have your efforts undermined by someone like that.

Mr. Reynolds & lady working at the Old Torrance location were very helpful and friendly. They made renting a positive experience. When confused about "hold" Jeffrey Garrido quickly responded by email & explained. Great customer service. I highly recommend.

I lived in Torrance for almost 20 years.. I have once a good relationship with uhaul and lost it as they file a wrongful record to me as they thought I stole a truck from them. After a long time, I do not wanted to come back anymore.. With God's blessing I did took another chance and with the current manager in there I am blessed and he is easy to work with with a heart and understanding. My record is also cleared and with the new system of checking ID cards they are now more safer and clear on background checks. For the current manager there, Bud, I hope you are reading this.. I am praying for you and your future, and your whole family. God bless you and I hope u haul to have more leader and employee like you!

We frequently rent from U-Haul at various locations throughout Los Angeles. This place is so amazing!!! The customer service and the willingness to help their customers here at this local Torrance location is just a 5 star experience. From the time you pull in getting above and beyond help from Hilton, who during your visit to this U-Haul store will come and help you and make sure you are good and if you need anything Hilton goes out of his way to help you have a easy experience. You know when your moving and hauling things and it’s a hot LA day, your some people can get short, not the staff at this location. No matter the heat this team of staff from Adriana, Reynolds and Tenono goes all the way to assist you to make your moving and hauling work easier. It’s been a joy to come here and I know you will have a great experience coming to this specific U-Haul location! Trust me they are not all the same, but this location works hard and goes the extra mile to make your life a bit easier. Thank you to you all for helping us with our move! God bless you all.

Busy morning when I came because it was the 2nd of the month and Friday. Long line. But I came here only for propane tank refill. The girl at the counter was friendly (I didn’t know how refilling propane worked, so I waited in line), and Jeffrey was also very nice. Paid using CC outside. But I was told that if you want to pay in cash, you have do so inside. It didn’t take long to fill it up. I definitely recommend this place for refilling your propane tank.

I reserved online, went to pick up. Had to wait for approval which took about 10 minutes. Had to take and upload numerous photos of the truck, and the app kept glitching. Truck exterior was filthy. No rearview camera, $1.09 per mile is a rip off. One day rental $40 + 7 for the dolly and 30 miles turned into $130.
