After 7 and a half hours of walking around SJ, they damaged my vehicle installing a wire harness and trailer hitch. Instead of undoing what they done, they gave me a refund for the harness and told me to go somewhere else to fix the issue they cause and sent me on my way without my left tail light working. They used my spare fuses and never replaced them either. They also killed my car battery in a brand new car and had to boost it even though there is a high risk of frying the computer in new vehicles by boosting them. I now have to go to another uhaul in moncton and get them to fix and repair it for free because they were shocked to hear my story about this location. A rep west has also been filed for full compensation.

Went to uhaul in moncton and after the SJ location put a 25 amp fuse in a 7.5 amp line, uhaul moncton found out that they burned the wires out of my car at the SJ location. Moncton facility called HQ and told them my experience at the SJ facility and they were shocked. Uhaul in moncton told me that uhaul will pay for all of my damages that the SJ location has caused. If Kia does not exceed the 8 hour window they provided me, the minimum total to rewire my car is $3397.91.

I recommend saving the trouble of going to this location and instead, go to the one on mountain road in moncton to get your trailer hitches and wiring done. They have a 10 times better facility there. They have workers there with years of experience. They do thousands of these a year with no complaints like this. They even mentioned to me this is the first time they have ever heard of anything like this before and the first time they seen something like this happen there before.

I will never rent a vehicle from this location again after the treatment I just had by the grey-haired senior-aged customer service agent. She was hostile and rude from walking out of the office. It seemed like her intent was to make sure I couldn’t rent a vehicle because she didn’t like how I looked. She ended up calling me “sketchy” and cancelled my contract saying she “wasn’t going to let me steal one of her trucks”. I’ve had amazing experiences at Enterprise in this city and will only rent from them from here on. Unprofessional and rude beyond belief.

This was my second time renting a uhaul truck from them and both experiences were excellent! The staff knew the answers to my questions/concerns, took care in providing detailed information/instructions for after hours drop off, rental amounts, verification process, and if anything needed to be disputed how to handle that. Very accommodating atmosphere. Will definitely rent from them again!
