U-Haul Marine Drive is an absolute lifesaver, especially on busy days like December 31st! Even without a reservation, setting up a rental was incredibly smooth and quick. The staff here really know how to handle the rush without making you feel stressed or ignored—they’re efficient, professional, and super cool to deal with.

One of the best things about this location is how convenient everything is. They have all the essentials for a seamless move, including boxes, packing supplies, and dollys, which you can grab on the spot. It’s a one-stop shop, so there’s no need to run around town looking for extras.

Dropping off the rental is just as easy as picking it up. The staff are friendly and approachable, ensuring you’re in and out in no time. Despite how chaotic the day might be, they keep the process streamlined and stress-free.

Whether it’s a last-minute move or a planned one, U-Haul Marine Drive proves to be a reliable choice. The combination of great service, available supplies, and an easy drop-off process makes this location stand out. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any future moving needs. Highly recommended!

If you are considering going to this U-haul location I would suggest you don’t. They will try to scam you. If you have to use this location then make sure you take plenty of pictures of the odometer, fuel gauge, inside and outside of the vehicle, and absolutely everything else you can think of.

When I received my bill they were trying to charge me for more than double the KM I knew I drove. I emailed and never received a response. I called the next day and the woman I spoke to, (Sohini) told me that it was literally impossible for a mistake on mileage to be made. She interrupted and spoke over me while I calmly explained the situation. I said I would have understood if another mistake had been made because when I picked up the vehicle they told me it had a quarter tank of gas, and when I checked it barely had an eighth. She said there was absolutely nothing she could do for me, and if a mistake had been made it would be the first time it had ever happened. Luckily I took a picture of the odometer before driving the vehicle and I received a refund right after I sent it along.

So I guess what I’m saying is… do I get a trophy for being the first person for this to ever happen to?

We had an issue with our original truck in that the tire was losing air, we caught it early enough and brought it back. They were very helpful and handed us a new vehicle and waived some fees.

The pick up process is very fast, and very easy. The cars are very very clean. The drop off procedure is insanely easy. You just leave it at their return spot and they clean it and park it.

Prices are decent, it’s a big company but what stood out was the staff was really nice. Thanks!

Our experience with U-Haul Moving & Storage on South East Marine was outstanding. Service was polite, fast, and efficient, and the estimated cost was very close to the final price, which was a great relief! Pickup and drop-off were also seamless, and they even let me park my car on their lot for the night when I couldn't find a spot nearby. Excellent customer service and great prices too. I highly recommend this U-Haul location.

Overall another pretty smooth experience with U-Haul. They were accommodating when I had to push my truck pickup time by an hour and a half. They had all the accessories like furniture pads and a dolly so it made my move easy. I used the U-Haul cargo van and requested the ford transit and it was smooth and easy to drive.

The drive I took consumed a quarter or a tank so on the way back there’s a PetroCanada which I pumped the gas. 1/4 tank on the transit worked out to be about 45 CAD.

Clean simple and I’d use them again if I needed to make a local move.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We called yesterday and asked if we can rent a dolly for Saturday and one of their employee said yes, just do a walk in tomorrow. We came the next day and they told us we have to do reservation. The line was long and we wasted our time just for them to tell us we need to have a reservation. What a waste of time. We have a busy day ahead. Such a hassle coming there and not getting anything.

Our reservation made weeks ago was not honoured, we were made to drive 140 km (87 miles) to pick up the truck, and then go a town in an opposite direction to pick up a trailer. Without any reimbursement for taxi, or fuel, or time.

The customer service rep said, this is just the way it works. And said to be thankful that we have a truck for our reservation.

I recommend you choose a reputable place such as Ryder, Penske, or Driving Force. I've had really good service from these places before.
