What has happened to this place!!? Used to be the best Uhaul facility in the area! Needed to transport my grandfathers 1920 Model T so arranged for a car trailer. Have done this a dozen times but the front staff still treat me like a thief and asks for a third party phone number. They have to call my wife and ask permission for me to rent a trailer! They are laughing and yelling and carrying on but when it comes time to do something serious they completely fail. I pull around and a man hitches the trailer to my car but tells Charmaine to “get her ass in there” and hook up the lights and chains. I try to help but he waves me off, so I go back to the front. SHE COMPLETELY FORGETS THE BRAKE SAFETY CHAIN. I get a call 10 minutes later to bring it back! No. So I pull over on 610 and fix her mistake. When I return, Ashton doesn’t look up from sweeping to tell me where to put the trailer or to spot me backing it up. Charmaine comes and gets in my face blaming me. Ask for a refund and they give me the runaround between local and national and barely offer a discount. They don’t understand the severity of risking my life and property, especially something as sentimentally valuable as a car that’s been in my family for 104 years. Well worth the drive to go somewhere else than to deal with frustrations and safety concerns here. Get it right or don’t make me pay for your mistakes!

Campbell is awesome! He helped me find the truck and even adjust my mirrors. He also gave me tips to make sure I’d be safe dropping the truck back off after dark. The truck was clean and ready to go. I’ll definitely use this location again. Thanks!

Just want share my good experience at this location on 12/14/24. The process to pick up a small trailer went smoothly. The 2 women working that day were nice and courteous. I was assisted when the trailer was hooked and also upon return. I will recommend this location and will return for any future needs

Went to this location today to see about getting a propane tank filled. Went inside and asked if they had propane. The lady working immediately told me that “I needed to go wait in line like everyone else”, with no other explanation. Confused I let her know I have never been to uhual to fill propane I had no idea where the line even was, that’s why I came in and asked. She belittled be in front of other customers and staff. It was very embarrassing and unwelcoming. I will be giving yall bad reviews over all platforms and will be writing to corporate about the lack of professionalism and customer service I experienced today. The man who filled up my propane was actually very nice. Don’t come here.

Terrible service… bad idea to rent from this office… NEVER go there. I was sent from the office 10621 S Main St, Houston, 10621 S Main St, Houston, TX 77025 . where after waiting for 25 minutes they sent me to this bad office where there is no one… they do not have cars to rent and supposedly they are open until 4 pm.

Worst location. Insanely slow service, the line stretched out of the store and when it’s your turn they say they have nothing available. Although there are cars sitting there and they keep saying it’s all reserved! Lets assume they
Are not lying since they don’t want more work on Sunday. Ok, why don’t you just say it out loud so people don’t wait in a line for an hour?!?
I don’t know if this is U haul new policy to keep sending you to another location. Logically I would select closest location so I drive less miles. But they want the opposite since they charge per mile‍♂️do yourselves a favor and rent from Home Depot which is cheaper and easier.

Place should be rated negative zero.
After hours pickup is the worst didn’t know it was so bad till I experienced it.

- I arrived at 9:45 pm and didn’t leave till 11:15 here’s why .
Following instructions through the app I open the lockbox to find out it’s the wrong truck for reservation. I’m trying to contact live support via chat and phone.

The live chat was quick with responding but solved nothing .
Support over the phone took over an hour to even get someone to help me after all the hassle I went through all he could say about my extreme inconvenience (on a time crunch already moving out of my apartment) is that he can file a complaint and they’ll reach out in 24-72 hours after I heard that nonsense I knew customer service wasn’t their strong suit and i should be complaining on the better business bureau website instead.

All cons:
- wrong key for truck in lock box
- long wait times with customer service (hour- hour and half)
- the truck I was changed to gas tank was LOCKED!!!! SO I GOT CHARGED EXTRA FOR THE DAMN GAS. I COULDNT GET IT OPEN FOR THE LIFE OF ME!

Aston is a horrible worker. He was rude and disrespectful. My friend and I are trying to move she wasn’t able to get the rental so I asked him to switch it to my name since we both are moving together and he refused to allow me to get the rental and made us leave. When he did say he was helping he was finding me places far out to drive. Like I have no extra money to pay to drive far to get a uhual .
I don’t understand why he would do that I have never heard of this before like he is heartless
