First of all, I booked an appointment and no one was even at the shop and it was locked when I arrived on time for my appointment. I had to call and he had to come in from home. I brought a skirt and my wedding dress. My dress was a super heavy satin with a cathedral train and he only used one tiny clip for the bustle so it broke immediately. He also refused to cut the length of the dress, he only cut the lining even though I told him I thought it needed more but I think he just didn't want to mess with the outer skirt. Heedless to say, I was tripping over it all night. Finally, I had a less than perfect bridal experience because he made several comments while struggling to zip my dress and again while checking out about how I need to not gain any more weight before the wedding and kept patting his tummy. For reference, I am 120 lbs and a size 0. The only saving grace was it was very affordable and the skirt turned out great.

Call me impressed by this man’s craftsmanship! He is very knowledgeable in this field and gave very sound advice on rehemming my shirts. I bought a brand called “cuts clothing” and I love the material of the shirts but with my small stature the shirts were a tad long for my torso. Imagine me wearing the shirt almost like a dress.

He was able to tell me what he as able to do for me and offered advice on how long it should be to fit my body and if he was able to recreate the same curved hem. The only thing he would’ve had trouble with was the brand logo “X” on the side of the shirt which prevented him from actually creating the split hem I originally wanted. I’m glad he is honest on his limitations.

I’m very satisfied with the work done AND he was able to match 10 DIFFERENT shirt colors with their respective thread color. He must have a ton of thread in his work area.

The price he gave me specifically to recreate the same curved hem was $16 per shirt. I’d say that pretty good pricing considering that the shirt finally fits me and I typically wear a shirt for more than half a decade. I recommend this place

UPDATE: My husband took 2 blazers for an alterations one was pure silk, the other pure linen. Mr Tran did such incredible work. After it was done it looked like he bought them that way. Mr. Tran explained the process may take a little longer than usual, but he called until he spoke with us and explained why the Blazers would take extra time. He communicates well, charges fairly, and does impeccable work. No one can touch his expertise in my opinion.

Okay, I hesitate to review because this is hands down THE MOST EXCELLENT tailor in the area. He is extremely professional, he has measured both my daughter and me without making either of us uncomfortable. The work he does is FLAWLESS. I have reviewed a few other tailors but I didn't know good tailoring until this place. I hesitate because he would be busy but WOW OUTSTANDING, knowledgeable, and fair in pricing.

I have moved from this area but will still be using this place! He truly is the best. I have brought several things into him and he gets them done quickly and for a reasonable price. I brought in my moms vintage fur coat and he patched up the tear and also my fiance' had a vintage casino shirt that we were told could not be altered but they did it here and did a great job and very quickly. I highly recommend!

$140 for a hem and taking up the bust on a bridesmaid dress. I dropped it off 2 weeks before I needed it, then when I came to pick it up on the agreed date, it wasn't ready. He is very nice and worked hard to get it done by the next day, but I wouldn't take things here again.
