Was excited about eating out with family tonight and decided to have our favorite Pizza loaded , we waited over 25 min to be offered a drink , despite only 3 people seated inside restaurant , we ordered a nice loaded pizza only to find ingredients listed in the menu where missed bacon , beef , . Also ordered a Soulvaki pizza to go only realizing kalmata olives where actually black olives , chicken was not seasoned . Our water came to the table in a cool very dirty bottle , my knife was dirty with black flecks of something attached to it . After calling about the second pizza and missing ingredient pizza was taken home , I called the restaurant to voice my concern and was disheartened to be passed to 2 people who actually didnt care about my concern and wanted to pick up the pizza as proof this has happened . I offered to send photos of the pizza , but the owner and mother insisted on picking up the goods and didnt want a photo . Then he said hes too busy too listen to my concerns as many people are ordering . He hung up on me . I feel after my payments where made , am.i not a customer ? How rude is this to take your money and dismiss my concerns . My advice is dont eat there , look around at the dirty floors , dead bugs in corners , missing ingredients . Dirty serving dishes and drinking water glasses had dirty ring around the tops and wonder if you will get sick or whats in your food . Cleanliness is Lacking . Last summer this place was great it sure has declined . I was not given any type satifaction by voicing my concern .

AS PER YOUR COMMENT TO THIS SITUATION NO WHERE DID YOU EVER OFFER A REFUND FOR THE FOOD , SO YOU ARE ALSO DOSHONEST , IF YOU HAD OFFERED A REFUND I WOULD HAVE WELCOMED YOU TO PICK UP THE FOOD, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN A LONG DRIVE TO CALGARY FOR , WHICH WAS FOR A FAMILY DINNER . IS IT NECESSARY REALLY TO CHECK A MENU TO ENSURE THE CORRECT INGRIEDIENTS ARE IN IT . WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES ?

I'll give this place five stars for the food. Service is great very friendly. I'm a very harsh food critic but their mac and cheese burger is possibly the best burger I've had in a while not to mention how excellent their mac and cheese is.

Stopped in at the recommendation of a friend in Olds. My daughter and I split the butter chicken poutine. It was so good we would drive from Calgary for it. We then had 2 pizzas (canadian and funghi w / creamy truffle) and they were both excellent. Good sauce to topping proportion and crust! Pretty sure the front end host was the son and mom was cooking - it was really good! Glad we stopped in. Will be back!

I want to give a big shout-out to The Urban Eatery. I had my birthday party there on Sunday afternoon. There were 18 of us and everyone raved about how good their meals were. The service we received from Maduwanthi and Nelson was excellent and Hennayoke must have been on fire in that kitchen to get so many (and such a variety) of meals out in time. It is such a cosy venue and could have accommodated at least another dozen people.
If you are looking for a spot to hold a party or a dinner meeting......

We were in Carstairs for wedding and had several hours to kill so we got some lunch at Urban Eatery and...wow!

From the outside and even when you first wall in you would think this would be more of a dive, with food that was was meh, but we were proven completely wrong! I ordered the Turkey and Brie sandwhich and my husband had a burger. Presentation alone sold us, but the taste was even better! Even my picky 2 year old who never eats ate his chicken tenders and fries!
Price was very reasonable.

I met the owner and she was lovely, definitely will go back if we're ever in the area! If you're local, you definitely need to check it out!

My husband and son really liked the food. I found it ok. So meeting meeting in the middle at 3 stars. Our server was very nice. The cleanliness needs some work. Potential to be a great place.

I was pleasantly surprised as the name indicates that they are a steak and pizza place. I seen they have a few different Curry’s on the menu. I ordered the Chicken Korma with Naan bread and the vegetable samosas to start. It was all done very well. The curry was very flavourful and creamy without being overly spicy. The salad and naan were both very fresh. Best curry I have had in a while.

What a wonderful surprise. After a day of moving we were exhausted and hungry so decided to pop in to the Urban Eatery. It was delicious. Everyone ate everything, no doggy bags required. The steak was cooked to perfection with a yummy peppercorn sauce. Ribs were impressive. The Pasta cooked correctly with a delicious sauce. The Poutin was cheesy, with a good gravy. Tgank you for taking such good care of us. We will be back.
