We had THE best time touring the Lakes with Woody the campervan.

This was our first time using a campervan and it was all perfect.

Chris from Summit Campervan Hire was very helpful, knowledgeable and assisted us greatly.

The campervan was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed which really made our holiday an enjoyable and memorable experience.

It was easy to drive and park, kept us toasty warm with the gas heater, had a mini fridge to keep the milk and cheese cold, had a stove top and kettle for meals and tea and hot chocs, had loads of storage and the pop up top made it very spacious and allowed my 6ft 4 partner to stand up straight.

If you're thinking of hiring a campervan to tour the Lakes or beyond, you can stop scrolling now! Highly recommended.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We had a fantastic time touring the lakes in Wilma. This campervan couldn’t have been equipped any better. It was very clean and tidy and it drove lovely. Chris was really helpful & explained everything we needed to know about how it all worked. We absolutely loved life in the camper and hope to have our own one day. A great way, the only way to get around the lakes. It was a definite try before you buy and we definitely want to buy. Thanks Chris, if we don’t buy one anytime soon , we’ll be back for another weekend. Thanks again.

Hired the van from Chris for 4 days. Great easy location to pick up from and really useful to be able to leave our car at Chris’s house.
We’ll equipped van with heater, kettle, pots and pans.
The van itself was clean and drove well.
Fantastic 4 days. Would definitely use again!

We had an incredible week taking one of Chris' campervans through the Outer Hebrides. It was fully kitted out with everything we needed for the trip, and ideally located in Kendal, at the half way point in our journey up. Chris was super helpful in giving us a tour before we left and very flexible when we were returning early. All round, we would highly recommend Summit Campervan Hire and will be returning in the future again.

We had an exceptional week away in the vw camper at the end of March.

Chris was very helpful and worked hard to get the camper ready a few hours early for us to help reduce our night driving that day.

Really nice to drive and doesn't feel much bigger than a car, and the reversing sensors make it reasonably easy to park.

Would definitely use again if its available for our next holiday!

Fabulous 3 nights spent in the lakes with Chris's campervan.
The booking procedure is simple and Chris was always there to answer any questions quickly via email. On the day, due to his planned bookings he allowed us to pick the van up at 11 and also let us have it a few hours longer for the same reason, which was a great gesture and hugely appreciated. The van itself has everything you'll need, we took the awning and it was very handy for camping chairs, empty suitcases etc. Its great just to come back to after a walk and stick the kettle on with your feet up for half an hour. We would really recommend Summit for your camper van hire, Chris is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, he even washed my car while we was away! Dont wait any longer, book it!
