I recently rented a BMW X5 from you, and overall, I had a fantastic experience with the vehicle.

The car was comfortable, luxurious, and drove exceptionally well. It really enhanced my trip, especially since I had to attend a wedding, and arriving in such a stylish vehicle was a great touch.

However, there was one small issue when I picked up the car, it was a bit dusty, which was a bit of a concern given the special occasion I was attending. I ended up having to get it washed before the event, which I paid for out of pocket. While it was a small price to pay, I would have preferred the vehicle to be spotless upon pickup.

That said, I understand these things can happen, and overall, I was very pleased with the rental. The Sixt team took great care of me, and I appreciate the excellent service I received.

Sixt, you can do better.

First, the staff tried to talk me into “upgrading” my option into a BMW 3 series for an additional of £130 per day. I said nope, thank you and he is still not done with it. Tried to upsell me another car again for an additional £80 a day. Again I politely declined and told that I would like to stick with what I’ve paid.

However, the staff decided to book me with a Citroen C3 (which is not in the category of compact limousine as according to the second picture, it should be at least a Citroen C4).

I asked the staff, why wasn’t I given a Peugeot 308 or same range vehicle (despite there was one Peugeot 308 ready, cleaned, outside). He just told me, oh C3 is the range that what you have booked. And if you want a larger vehicle, you should upgrade instead.

The whole process felt like I was cheated, and the Citroen C3 was a pure malice of not upgrading. I had no choice and to go with a small car despite that person knowing that we have 4 adults.

Sixt, you may try to argue and say that C3 is also the same category with a 308 but every ordinary person knows that they are not in the same category. As per second picture, C4 is the one that is equivalent to 308.

If you plan to rent with Sixt Leeds, think twice. No more next time.

Untrustworthy. Charged me nearly £900 for damage that was there when I picked the car up - there was loads of other damage on the car, none of which they pointed out to me, and they sent the contract / initial damage report to the wrong email address (they mis-spelt my name) so that I never received it.

I should obviously have checked the car more thoroughly when I picked it up, but I had a small child with me and was rushing. (Won't make that mistake again!). But Sixt have been a mess, taking months to send me the contract, and generally very poor customer service. I've been charged for damage once before, and it was clearly my fault, and the company dealt with it very professionally - but that's not what happens with Sixt.

Yahyaa Was extremely professional and accommodating. The customer service was impeccable. He guided me through the process efficiently. He is an asset to this company. I highly recommend sixt because of his customer service. He was very patient given my circumstances, I was with my heavily pregnant wife and he made us feel very comfortable. I was quite nervous as this was my first time renting a van but he patiently dealt with all my queries.

The car we hired was new and well kept. The online booking was easy. Most importantly, they work on weekends.

They note in their message the damage sustained previously, avoiding disputes.

It's an extremely good experience so far although we are still waiting for the return of the deposit.

Very disappointing. I hired a car to rent for 1 month on the day. I paid the full amount around 800 pounds. I they called me do I have points on my licence I said yes. They said it should be okay.

I then went to pick the car up on the day. They said I couldn't have the car due to points. I said would I get a refund. I was told yes.

But I have never got a refund. And they said I won't get a refund. Not even a penny. So I have paid around 800 pounds to have a car for 1 month. And I've got no car.

I would a little bit understand if they kept 50 pounds. But I can't even have a penny back.

This is a scam. And the company is bang out if order.

Just collected a hire car here for 11 days. Absolutely fantastic service and so helpful. Went above and beyond and can't say enough good words about the staff there, especially Yahyaa who served me and sorted the car out. 10/10 and will always use them for any future car hire
