Just got there Monday & stuff was stolen & I was kicked out after working 12 hrs on Thurs. I have nowhere to go. The worker was yelling at me whn I asked why were my sheets removed. I am the only one that works there everyone else stays in the bed all day or hangs outside smoking. I left a bad situation w/ a guy for this. Now I had to move back with my ex or sleep in my car The worker kept yelling at me when I asked her not to. She is a very mean lady that should not be there. Ths place reminds me of prison even tho I have never been- favorites doing things & guards holding them down After calling AJ 8 times on Friday she finally came to the phne and sd I was walking away from the worker & I can’t come back for 30 days.yesterday. I should have nvr been treated lke this. I’ve been to shelters where I wasn’t yelled at, but appreciated because I worked. Called the director & she never called me back. Stupid people are supposed to keep me from being homeless

Id give zero stars if I could.
Do not rent from them!
Do not move into their housing!
They got rid of everything I owned in my apartment while I was in the hospital suffering from a bad stroke in Jan.
.of 2023.I spoke to Dustin Bowman who is supposedly in charge of the housing in February of 2023 as soon as I was possibly able to. I asked if he could let my brother in my apartment to bring some stuff I needed out of my apartment to the hospital to me. He says..I think they cleared your apartment out. I'm thinking..who is they? Your in charge of the housing..smhThis is called illegal eviction and theft!Oh well ..they have to answer to God!

I lived in the shelter for about 2 months and though it's better than being on the streets, there's a lot of work to be done in treating everyone fairly and not giving certain people special privileges. During the extreme heat wave a majority of us were kicked out from 9-4 for about a week, which they claimed was due to health concerns from construction but some people were allowed to stay. They have a small set of rules that mean immediate discharge from the shelter when broken, and a few people were permitted to break those rules for seemingly no reason while others were kicked out to fend for themselves on the streets. I'll admit it's a lot better than other shelters in the area, and they have a wide range of services available to residents to help them get back on their feet. But if you have an option to stay with a friend out of state or with family it's genuinely better to do that. It's not in a safe area, and if you're transgender they will not enforce consequences for people disrespecting you. Also would advise against turning in contraband, because I did when I got there and they lost both things I turned in. They offered to ship them to me if they find them but we'll see what happens, if they haven't found my stuff a month from now I'll be posting an update to my review. Dani, AJ, and Ed are the kindest members of staff, the others have a tendency to be unfair and straight up rude without reason.
Edit: my belongings have been found but the shelter was supposed to ship everything to me and I still haven't received anything. We'll see what happens.

Stayed a couple nights here. Wasn't impressed with one of the staff members. I think her name is Carmen. She spoke down to everyone and it made everyone feel like children

Beautiful place to get your life together. Serv City got me an apartment, and I love them for all they have done for me. May God Bless them.
