Do not book this company!!!! We were engaged for over a year and tried to have multiple calls with the owner who declined to speak to us over the phone multiple times and just kept sending over some timeline schedule. The timeline was not correct for our guests were over 30 minutes late to our wedding which cut our entire wedding ceremony and reception short. He stated they can’t control traffic and accidents although this seems to be an ongoing excuse and I find it hard to believe a transportation company doesn’t have a gps to see where traffic is at the time. He was nasty to the people who called him asking where the busses were and hung up on them then tried to turn the situation on them.

Not to mention he would send one word emails back to us if we asked one question during our engagement planning process which was an uneasy feeling.

When we emailed him about this experience he was sending rude unprofessional emails back to us stating we couldn’t afford our wedding and that’s why we reached out about our experience with his company? Makes zero sense considering we paid him our entire invoice MONTHS before which he had zero organization to keep track of. When we emailed him a week out to confirm he tried to charge us again. What sort of business owner does this?

I don’t know where to start! Do NOT rec these guys for anything other than very simple back and forth on easy roads. Richard was disorganized, unprofessional and downright rude. On more than one occasion it’s all good until after they get your money and then customer service goes out the window. Our guests were late to the wedding and some were also left behind because the buses wanted to travel together. Completely inflexible about puck up and drop off locations or changes due to weather or guest needs.

Richard is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with, and his service through his company shows. We used rivers transport to pick up approximately 75 guests from Fripp island for our wedding on Dataw. Per the contract, he was supposed to arrive at 5pm to pick up the guests from Fripp. We received notice about 30 minutes before he was supposed to show up that he wasn’t going to get there until about 5:45/6. Our wedding started at 6. We had to reach out to each individual guest that rsvp’d for the buses that they needed to drive themselves. Ended up having to delay wedding start. Cost us a bunch of money on the back end, and will not refund us. He has claimed none of this happened, said there was bad traffic, claimed a family member died, all to different people on different calls. We’re having to end up taking him to court because he doesn’t have the decency or grown up capacity to admit any wrong doing and going against his contract. Complete nightmare transportation group, STAY AWAY.

We used Rivers Transport for our holiday party. They picked up in Beaufort and brought our employees to Columbia and then back to Beaufort! They did a great job and our staff loved their driver! They said the driver was so helpful and drove very carefully . Thank you!

Rivers Transport took 40 of us to Brookgreen Gardens this week for an overnight stay. The bus was perfect for our group, comfortable and clean. Our bus driver, Kenny, was more than accommodating. One of us left an ipad on the bus (that would be me) and he went above and beyond to return it to security at our community, then even followed up to make sure that I had gotten it. Great service, reasonable price. If you live in the Beaufort, SC area and are looking for bus service for a group, I highly recommend Rivers Transport Services.

Mr Rivers did an awesome job with transporting us to and from Port Canaveral FL. He even provided us with great music selections on the ride back....that awesome way to end our trip!!!
