Absolutely terrible quality service. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. On the regular, bins are knocked over and in the road after they have gone through our neighborhood. You can definitely tell when republic has come through to collect trash, because your bins are never perfectly back where you left them. If you are sick of them and their trashy service, we have switched to waste works, and recomend it to everyone.

Why am I still being billed? I cancelled service nearly 3 months ago due to multiple missed pick ups. I'll remove the review when you make it right... 1/5/25 Just did my taxes. You charged me almost $1000 this summer for horrible service. I got out after a couple months! Let this be a warning for anyone considering your service. I will be calling a lawyer to try to get some of this back.

Inconsistent prices when dropping off trash. For instance, I dropped of a full truck load from bathroom remodel and was charged minimum. Today dropped off 4 garbage bags and some small scrap plywood@200 lbs and was charged about $20. People at the scale house are friendly and the drop off area is kept clean.

Missed Pick Up : they emptied both of my containers, but did not get the three bags that were placed next to the bins. We are allowed five bags outside the bins. I called within minutes of the missed pick up, even stating that they are still in our addition and they told me they won’t be back until Monday to pick up the miss bags. Needless to say, this isn’t the first time either. They are lazy at getting out of the truck to get any additional bags. Bring back the old-school trash man where one hung off the back and made sure they got everything.

Absolutely terrible service. I would give them a zero if i could. We only had them for 3 weeks and not one time was our trash picked up on the day it was supposed to. It usually took 3 days from the scheduled day for pick up. We had to report it every time and they said it would be picked up next business day....it never was.
We have since canceled our service and the trash has been sitting at the end of our lane for a week! UNRELIABLE

This company is horrendous with their price increase. When I moved into my home 4 years ago, the price per quarter for recycle and garbage was 6x.00 dollars or so. Fast forward to multiple price increase, it is now topping out at 109 per quarter. There is no notice to the customer of their price increase. Also if you read their fine print, they indicate you waive all rights to class action lawsuit (as they are getting sued in Indianapolis). Of course on the way out I am also getting slapped with a removal fee of 36 dollars per container so that's another 72 dollars that they take away. I understand inflation, but i don't understand a 100% increase over the past 4 years. That is unacceptable. Also with service, there were weeks where services did not come to pickup due to shortage of workers, weather etc. They made no effort to make up for the miss days and asked that you put your trash along the side of the garbage can if it was too full. I am going with another service that I hope will be better than this company.

Honestly if I could give this company ZERO stars I would. First off it’s insanely expensive and they do nothing but continue to raise your rates. The customer service is trash…literally. Very rude over the phone and never very helpful. Then on top of that they NEVER EVER come when they’re supposed to I pay almost 300$ for them to come every week. Do you think they come every week? Absolutely not! The most recent issue I had was just ridiculous. I called to change my service from two trash cans to one since it’s SO EXPENSIVE and instead of taking one trash can they just TOOK BOTH OF MY TRASH CANS!!!!!!!!! So now I have ZERO trash cans!!!! Grrrr very frustrating, very over this company. Look for somewhere else to take your trash if you can!

UPDATE: They never came and picked up my trash during the last week of service. So, I took it to them and left it at the entrance to their facility. They never came and picked up their trashcan, which I couldn’t get in my car.

Aside from some whining from the driver having to pick up extra trash right after we moved in, the service was pretty good until about seven months ago. Since then, we don’t know if our trash is going to get picked up. We call customer service and report the missed pick up. We’re told it will be later that day. If you call again later in the day, they tell you to be the next day. This last time, it was three days before they told us they canceled our route for the week. To even find that out, I still had to call them.

Did they automatically credit my account for the missed pick up? Of course not! I had to call and ask for it.

We finally got sick of this and went with a different garbage collector. I was told my service will be ending next week. After confirming after another phone call about not getting our trash picked up, I found out instead that they are holding us hostage until the end of the month. Because of the repeated miscommunication, I had to call and change my arrangements with my new garbage company.

They also damaged our yard by throwing the trashcan down in the grass. I called and put in a claim, and they did nothing.
