Chanced upon this Pho restaurant while being deprived of Asian food (after being in New Orleans for 4 days) and am sooooo happy and satisfied with the food here.

The pho broth is authentic and has the usual condiments on the side. But what I enjoyed the most was the crab Rangoon - crab meat went surprisingly well with Philadelphia cream cheese and deep fried in wanton skin. And not forgetting the main highlight is the Vietnamese coffee!! Really got me to reminisce all the wonderful Vietnamese coffee in Ho Chi Minh.

Thank you for the wonderful food!

We came for the Bao Buns & they did not disappoint, we got the shrimp, lemongrass chicken and requested beef which was off the menu but they accommodated, our favorite was the lemongrass chicken ones! We also tried the wings (spicy version) they were delicious and the perfect crispy texture, 10/10 highly recommend and shojtout to our server Henry for choosing the perfect juices to complement our meal we loved the kiwi!

Staff are great and attentive. Although they were busy there were a few staff on so it didn’t take long to get helped. My food came out quickly. The pho was a good portion size. The peanut sauce was good for my appetizer, it had real half pieces of peanuts in it.

The food was awesome. Didn't have my favorite dish, but what I got was pretty dag gone close. The flavor was on point. First place I've been to that has chili oil at the table. Not sriracha or paste. But actual oil.

Pho Tran is my absolute favorite place for Lemongrass Curry Tofu and vermicelli! The food is always fresh and flavorful! The service is absolutely amazing and I always feel like family when I come here! The prices are reasonable and you get your moneys worth every time!

This is a wonderfully comfortable, friendly Vietnamese restaurant in the Lower Garden. It also happens to have what I think is the absolute best pho ga in town. I have never had better chicken broth. The portions on everything are very generous as well. We are always welcomed warmly and they even know our "regular" order. I almost always get the pho ga, and my husband goes for the beef vermicelli bowl with a side of nem, though he has also had the beef pho. The fresh shrimp spring rolls are really delicious as well. Can't say enough good things about this lovely little spot.

10/6/24. Food taste good but lacking some typical stuff that goes with some of the dishes. Hubby has to have his combination rice, with pork skin, grill meat and egg. They added 2 egg rolls to that dish and charge $23 for it. It is too expensive for what it is. I think that dish should be around $17. My vermicelli plate price is OK but lack typical greens such as mint, cilantro and leafy lettuce that go with the dish. Vietnamese coffee is lacking. Doesn't taste like coffee filter thru fin and adding condensed milk with ice. Overall, the price is a little expensive for the dish than what we expected though. Will try other dishes next time.

Pho Tran sports a clean and open seating area with nice lighting; chill radio plays in the background while you enjoy fine Vietnamese cuisine at low prices. The serving sizes are generous, and our server was eager to be helpful! This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I highly recommend it to others.
