Steve is the man. This guy has helped us convert our school bus into a tiny home with his amazing electrical skills. Fortunately, we he had already bought most of the parts and he was able to seamlessly plug it in to our build. He also recommended some awesome upgrades that didn’t break the wallet including, the Victron Cerbo GX monitor, highly recommend. Steve has been so kind to lend us help via the phone or if need be, bring in the vehicle since they finished their work. Very busy and up and coming company but it still gives you that personal feeling and connection vs a big box RV sales store. I cannot express enough of how happy and pleased I am with their work.

Earlier this year NoWhere Vans completed a new van build for my family and we are beyond thrilled with both the result and the process. Their detailed design and budgeting approach includes a methodical, milestone based development schedule that gave comfort regarding the completion date and budget. Their approach was still flexible enough to allow for a few last minute requests from me, with the resulting cost and schedule impacts clearly communicated. They not only have a great engineering and hard-goods fabrication team, but their custom soft-goods are also wonderful!

Their PowerHouse pre-packaged electrical system is well designed and resulted in a 'management light' off-grid electrical approach that has impressed us. Despite running a 12v air-conditioning system (a heavy draw appliance) we don't worry much about charge levels because the PowerHouse system has a generous battery system and multiple charging options all packaged neatly in a professional over-wheel metal enclosure.

I wish there were 10 STARS! Mike is my hero! He worked for 6 hours yesterday to redo a complete hack job of a battery install on my C Class RV that another shop did for me several months ago. I was so worried about having a fire that I contacted NWVs and made an appointment. How I wish I had found them first! It was worth every penny to have Mike tear it all out and redo the install as it should have been done. He explained every step of the process. I feel confidence and peace of mind now. Priceless. If (when 🙂 I decide to do a solar install this is where I will travel to from wherever I am in the country. Thanks guys!! 🙂

During the pandemic I spent 11 months trying to find a camper van to purchase. After speaking with many van builders, dealing with the shortage of available new vans to purchase, and finally hunting across the US and Canada, I found a listing for my Dunraven van, a completed Ram Promaster build, offered for sale by NoWhere Vans of Wisconsin. Steve and Mike were remarkably patient with me, as I made up my mind, required the addition of air conditioning and added battery/solar power and the promise that I could exist off grid in Arizona in July, keeping myself and my terrier comfortable for a full night. This was no small feat to accomplish and I was convinced I found the right guys to provide the best electric system available. Now that I've spent time in the van I have to repeat what other reviewers have said.... my van is so well built that when other van builders see my electric system, they are impressed. Steve and Mike have been generous with their time, by phone, email, text and even a recent visit to WI, helping me troubleshoot any issues that come up. I am woefully uneducated about the workings of my electric system, except that I know I have the best of the best! My thanks to NoWhere Vans for giving me a van that is comfortable, well built and the envy of all I meet on the road. I hope to spend many years enjoying it! To anyone looking for a well built custom van or needing help with upgrades to their electrical system, you couldn't find more skilled or nicer guys! Amy Michal Schaffer from Oregon

Mike at NoWhere Vans is an extremely knowledgeable and talented engineer who produces top-quality campervans. I was referred to him for some electrical system tweaking as I wasn't aware there was an upfitter like him located near the Milwaukee area. I had a tight timeframe to get my electrical system diagnosed and updated and he made me a priority which I very much appreciated. My electrical system is all Victron equipment and Mike and his team are the midwest distributor for Victron meaning they have all the parts and items on-hand. This made the timing much quicker and convenient for both of us. I originally was looking to have my battery protect installed but it turned out some of my wiring was incorrectly sized to and from my batteries. Mike suggested an overhaul of my system to ensure it was fully safe and that it would operate at 100% efficiency. I arrived at 11am and after talking for about an hour on how to proceed with the update, he and his team got to work dismantling my system. By 5pm, they had rewired (with the appropriate sized wires) the system and had upgraded my distributor, added in a second DC/DC charger, installed the battery protect and the display/monitoring system. They worked hard and fast and ensure that everything was in proper working order before I left. They were able to squeeze me in within one half-day and complete a highly vital update to my system. They were great guys and super accomodating and I have nothing but the best to say about them. If you're in the MKE/southern WI area, I would go nowhere (a pun!) else but here. They are amazing guys!

I found Nowhere Vans by accident while searching for distributors of a product they install (You guys need to advertise a little more). I own a 2018 Navion 24D which I had Nowhere Vans soup up with 875 watts of solar panels on my Class C roof, and 525 amp hours of lithium ion batteries, controllers and all the other stuff they know everything about and I know nothing about. Steve and Mike were great and handled some slight glitches very professionally. Did it cost alot? Yes. But, I retired, sold my home, and moved into my RV. The solar upgrade allows me to dry camp, disperse camp, camp off the grid, whatever you want to call it, every day. If I was spending $40-$50/night in a campground, I'd still be working. By my estimation, this solar upgrade will pay for itself in less than two years. Beyond that, with the factory installed 200 watts and 200 amp hour marine batteries, I couldn't trust my freezer to stay frozen; I wasn't always sure the milk would be cool in the morning; I would check the battery status several times per day; I went through four pairs of marine batteries in four years. Now, I check the battry status maybe once a day; I don't have to push buttons or switch plugs to have power in every outlet of my RV, all the time; I can run a space heater all night; I can even run my A/C unit effectively. What is the cost of the piece of mind I now have after my solar upgrade from Nowhere Vans? PRICELESS!!!

Steve and Mike at NoWhere Vans were exceptional to work with and I'd recommend them to anyone who asks! I came to them with some ideas that were atypical to what they had built in the past, and the helped me refine those into a practical design that's worked out great for my family of 5.

On top of that they continue to make themselves available to troubleshoot any issues and answer any questions.
