As other reviewers have stated, don't let the slightly older exterior fool you. This place is great! The rooms have been renovated and are very spacious. Kitchenette with a full fridge and freezer combo, stove, sink, microwave, coffee maker. Even a great little bistro-style kitchen table with 2 chairs. Tammy was very friendly and welcoming. She noticed we had a long flat deck trailer hooked up to our truck and offered us to leave it conveniently parked where we already had it along the side of the building to save us the hassle of getting it parked elsewhere. VERY appreciated as it was -30 outside. We had 2 big dogs with us which was absolutely no problem at all (they actually made friends with other dogs staying there).
Theres only a few things I'd suggest for constructive criticism; an extra toilet paper roll and extra garbage bags stored in the bathroom would be appreciated, as well as coffee filters and coffee to go with the coffee maker and sweeteners provided. But that's it! So very, very minimal overall and what I'd consider "nitpicking". Thanks so much for the great stay!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was right off the main road. However no discernable road noise.
And Ray, the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful, courteous and a pleasure to deal with.

Do not judge a a book by its cover. This place is a little hidden treasure. The view of the mountains are amazing. I stayed in a newly renovated room, so the room has new kitchen appliances, plates, utensils and cooking utensils. The newly renovated bathroom has a touch-sensitive mirror for lighting and anti-fog. Additionally, the front desk was gracious enough to let me use a vacuum to clean out my kid’s car seats after a long road trip. Strongly recommend this motel.

Really enjoyed our stay here and enjoyed Smithers too. Super clean large room with huge kitchen, which was great for us to eat in more and go out less. And top notch service, our hostess Tammy was very warm and welcoming. Close enough to everything and yet quietly placed at the edge of town. Would definitely return and recommend.

Great motel! Shower head higher than 6 feet, plenty of electrical outlets, very modern renovation. Wish I could give it more stars.

I generally avoid motels but thought I would give this place a shot. Room was spacious and clean. It appears to be upgraded fairly recently with a great bathroom, soaker tub, and comfortable bed. Fridge was working well. Price was great.

Read reviews before arriving which determined our stopping in. Very spacious, quiet on the back side of building. Some folks staying long term but not an issue, everyone very nice and friendly. |Room is clean , towels could use an upgrade, as well as linens.|Terry the manager is super helpful and freindly. |Beautiful hanging baskets which shows the management cares .|Laundry on site very clean and lots of them, which i took advantage of. |Lovely chairs and table outside our room which lots of motels don't provide. Very helpful while travelling on a motorcycle
