What can I say, a predatory for profit organisation that benefits on drivers not paying attention. No matter if you are late a minute or 10, it is hard rules for them, no compasion for the reason why you broke their rules no matter how significant, you will pay. I hope the owner will be judged so strictly in every part of his life. Meanwhile to the McDonald and other places that use MET, I will remember to avoid them.

Thieves and scammers—unbelievable that such things happen!

The famous parking lot: Starbucks and McDonald's right next to each other, but two separate parking areas. No lighting after dark, making it impossible to see the entrance to the second lot, which belongs to McDonald's. Turns out, the parking lot just a few steps from McDonald's actually belongs to Starbucks.

A fine arrived, and despite an appeal with photos clearly showing it was pitch dark, it was rejected.

These clowns charged me a penalty on McDonalds Bordesley Green, for a day I wasn’t even there. Apparently they rejected the appeal even with evidence and the first I knew about it was the debt collection letter. Guess there is a place where theft is seen as a job skill.

Never park in these places, they are waiting to pounce with parking fines and charges.
Located at Gatwick mcdonalds! Beware! EVEN if you are a customer, they WILL fine you!
I validated my parking as I saw a sign, it was christmas eve, we were travelling through with 2 kids on my own. They of course, take ages to eat, nappy changes, toileting, its christmas eve! So busy.
And I was over 60mins by 11mins!
I wrote and explained. I was a customer. I got out as soon as I could. 11 mins wasn't taking the piss.i actually thought on validation this wouldn't apply. Well the following was sent to me;
Basically there are signs you should do better.
We have made the decision considering mitigating circumstances and this is a final decision. Pay.... well what a lovely family friendly place mcdonalds in Gatwick is not! As 60mins, is not long with slow eaters. But I won't make this mistake again. I will ever use this restaurant and avoid all MET services! As a nurse interview understand people doing their job. But also, this wasnr life or death. And 10mins for an honest 1st time mistake wouldn't have killed them or their profits I'm sure. As they clearly just want to take people's money.

Don’t even deserve one star!
Whoever deals with appeals in appeals department is so selfish and arrogant with zero emotion despite explaining entry /exit timing screenshots bank statements he/she comes nonsense email which gives deadline to do payment.
Entered KFC Gatwick at 15:15 left at 16:00
Validated the ticket when left machine didn’t accept the ticket, pressed a bottom underneath matchine the barrier opened, after a week got a ticket saying that I didn’t validate my ticket.
dodgy And rip-off that’s what they are.
Be careful don’t press any button at barrier when leaving if machine don’t work, always go and have a word inside KFC the manager.

This racket needs to be reviewed by Starbucks and McDonalds. To use their businesses and then receive a parking fine is an insult. Even tough it won't make the slightest difference I will not use them again at any sight.

Parked in case of emergency because my daughter was going to wet herself was there for 5 minutes and charged £60. Told them this and they didn't care. Money grabbing company who don't care about people and don't care if you don't have money but still force you to pay. These people don't even any heart at all. They don't deserve anything and hope they get no money at all. If I could give blow one star, I would.

Got a fine through the post for Stansted. Used to be able to park free for 30 minutes now been changed with no viable notice of time changes so have to pay 60 fine. In future make changes obvious absolute scum of the earth companies like this.
