Doctors that won’t refill medication, leaving you with withdrawals that they didn’t warn you about (they only want to quickly prescribe). Don’t answer the phone. All around trash.

Atrocious! It took weeks to finally get a call back. The Director finally called me & stated they never recieved info from the pharmacy. I had paperwork to prove otherwise. He then told me they had many changes. When the Medical Assistant called me back AFTER the Director did & leaving several messages with the office. She told me the phone log doesn't show i called then hung up on me. As I told her I have a phone log too, it shows that I called 8 times in the last week and a half. It took weeks to get a prior authorization for meds. I had the insurance company get involved & file a grievance. This is unacceptable.

Poorly ran. Negligent. They refuse to refill prescriptions without an appointment. They also will schedule appointments 3 months apart. Then refuse to refill medicine. There is never a sense of urgency when you need help or a refill. The doctors are all constantly leaving. Want to get to know your doctor? Be prepared for a new one every 3 to 6 months. If the doctors keep leaving something seems to be wrong. Also its difficult to get a psych appointment. They'll make you wait a month for an appointment. Cancel. Then ask you to wait another month. I had this happen twice in a row. Good luck anyone who stays. We have taken our business elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever gotten treatment for mental health. They used to be pretty decent, but I am really starting to understand why all their good staff have left for greener pastures. The people who work there now are borderline negligent. Avoid at all costs if you can, it's not worth your time or money, more information below:

I'm writing this after the third time that one of my medications has lapsed and I've gone into withdrawal due to them not filling it. I have spent the past two weeks trying to get on the phone with ANYone in the office, but most lines just go to voice mail no one ever returns a call. I have left over 7 voicemails on different machines with no responses. The only people on staff who might seem to care are hamstrung by asinine 'procedures' that mean that even when they screw up your treatment, they are unable to fix things in an expedient manner.

They seem to care far more about their paperwork than the actual treatment of patients who use their services. I also had one 'psychiatrist' there who accused me of, and shamed me constantly for, lying about thinking I had ADHD. Well, at year later and numerous neurological tests done and, oh look, I 'DO' have ADHD. Absolutely horrid woman who should never be allowed to practice again without some severe training.

I normally try to write my reviews in a more objective manner, but I have never dealt with such an incompetently run organization before. And when you're in charge of people's mental health, there's no excuse for the level of negligence and laziness that is on display here.

Just to let people know what kind of service to expect; despite the fact that my prescription medication was never filled last month, today I was told that because my 'treatment plan' was out of date, I couldn't talk to the prescriber. To get my 'treatment plan' updated, I have to talk to a therapist. When can I see a therapist? Well, we have to wait til next week when he gets back to even find out WHEN he's available. Why is this not just readily visible in the system? Who knows? Even when I was happy with my therapists and such (before they left for better practices), there were signs that there was a bureaucratic nightmare happening behind the scenes.

Avoid this place if you have any other possible practices to go to. I would rate it 0 stars or lower if those were an option.

This place runs at an incredibly inefficient level. I've been trying to get put on the correct medication for 3 months now. They have such a bad scheduling problem that it takes a month+ to get an appointment. Doctors don't seem to understand the medication they are prescribing because my insurance needs prior authorization for it. They never called my insurance company so I couldn't fill my prescription. My med is a C2 so the prescription has to be filled within 72 hours. Now I have to go back (yet again) to get a new prescription written. Doc is only there two days a week so it's a huge hassle. People on the phone like to catch an attitude and never call you back when you leave a message. This place is a joke.

Im not sure what kind of business you’re running but, it’s awful. I called numerous times left voicemails no return phone calls. I’ve left emails and haven’t gotten any emails back. I’m in need of two doctors and I was disappointed by this place. I don’t reccomend this place.

Negligence at its worst. Good luck getting any prescriptions refilled or appointments made. On multiple occasions I have been told they would call and refill prescriptions with no luck. You’ll leave messages for nobody to return your call. Please avoid this location.

(update 2021 since covid they have a few new providers & are better about getting patients their prescriptions ) 4 star because the staff does try, they accept medicaid & the facilities look nice. -4 stars because they can't keep staff, they can't get your prescriptions filled in an organized or timely manner, it's not easy to get care at this practice because there are a lot of steps and unnecessary gatekeepers, that make getting what you need from them tedious, complicated & a big time drain. Do you want to go to an organized practice, where your concerns are treated with respect, where they have consistent and reliable staff, a place where they make getting your mental health care easy? Then LMCS is not the practice for you. I do not recommend this place The services they provide are sub-par. In no other type of medical office would you expect to have to call back over & over, leave voicemails, talk to staff as well as walk in to the office 4-6 times and still have to wait 2-3 weeks to get a refill for your child. Even my pharmacist told me to try and find an alternative provider because they are difficult to get refills from. They do not have enough providers & they can't find/ keep consistent staff that can prescribe. Basically LMSD is ok with the fact that they do not provide quality care because their clients to a primarily medicaid/medicare client population and they not there are not a lot of options for people with that kind of insurance. They are also providing to people with mental health issues that may not have the resources to go anywhere else. Which is probably why they can't keep quality Dr.s, NP's, therapist and counselors. Basically seems like the type of place providers get experience at and then leave.
