Every experience has been excellent. The information and transactions are flawless. Locati has sold ice fishing lures to fine paintings for me. Purchased a few pieces of jewelry at an online auction. Decided to pick up items. Address was not found on my gps. Not their fault BUT when I offered constructive criticism to the owner I was met with nastiness and hostility. Furthermore, I was charged the online processing fees when I went in person to pick up the item. These people find every way to scam you. Beware!!

As a seller, Michael and his wife guided me throughout the process. They have incredible auctions that include an assortment of beautiful art pieces and antiques. I’ve purchased well over a hundred items from Locati since 2013, from bronze statues, Victorian furniture, pottery, chandeliers, paintings etc. etc. and so many other items I wouldn’t have time to list them. I was told they take a 20-25% sellers commission. Now, 10 years later, as I am downsizing my home I requested to have several items THAT WERE PURCHASED FROM THEM to be considered for listing in their next monthly auction, only to be told that “none of these items are a good fit for them”?! Items they sold are not a good fit for them? Something here stinks. Fortunately in this day and age there are numerous other avenues for the sale of antiques. Or maybe they weren’t actually fine antiques to start with and that’s the issue ?
