My experience here at loc addicts was more than amazing. Angel is so knowledgeable, honest, and cool, that I crowned her as my loc pro and will gladly spread the word. Place was very clean and welcoming. My experience was a 10 out of 10 for sure. If you haven’t booked with angel then please do yourself a favor and get to it. ?

As someone who just starting their loc journey, i would say that i had a pretty good first experience with Loc Addicts. Angel was super welcoming, easy to talk to, and she had me looking right by the time i got out of her chair.

For me, a couple of things that could've made it a better experience, for one, was the scheduling. I paid a deposit to lock in my individual time and set my appointment for 1pm assuming that it would take a while, especially because I have a lot of hair, but when i got there on time for my appointment she had another client that she was tending to. Although she was very apologetic and was great at multitasking, and got me shampooed and deep conditioned while she was working with the other client, we didn't actually get to styling my hair until well after an hour after my scheduled time, and we didn't finish until close to 8pm. I did prefer that she take her time and get it done right, so taking her time once we did get started wasn't a super big issue. I just think we could've been done a lot sooner had we started at 1pm as scheduled and got into a flow sooner.

The second thing i wasn't expecting was the price to be as much as it was. This could definitely be my ignorance, but I assumed that my starter locs would be $150-200. Even with the two strain twist that i requested, I thought that it would be around that much, maybe a little more, but I was surprised when I had to pay almost double what I expected. Because I was happy with the work she did and the experience that I had, I had no problem paying her rate, but it was a bit pricey in my opinion for two strains twist starter locs. Again, this could definitely been my ignorance as I have no clue what other locticians wouldn've charged me for the same service.

Overall, I had such a good time in Angel's chair and she took very good care of me! I will most definitely be back because I trust her, her skills, and her knowledge and know that she knows how to guide me on my loc journey!

My experience with Angel at Loc Addicts was wonderful. Not only did she really go through my hair and provide me with proper education on how to take care of it, she did a great job on my hair too. My locs have never felt so soft like they did after she washed it. You can tell she is passionate and really enjoys what she does and it shows in her craft. I’m so happy I found Loc Addicts, cause I’m new to Houston and this will 100% be my consistent salon.

Had the best experience at the shop with Angel! She did the best shampoo and massage I have ever had! She was very knowledgeable and very skilled in doing my Locs!! Lord knows how picky I can be, lol! She was very nice with great customer service and did an excellent job!!!!!!

Angel is an ABSOLUTELY ? incredible LOC-tician. Her shop is super clean. She is extremely kind, thorough and professional. I am very particular about who touches my LOCs. She is AWESOME.
