This location is very well ran. It has great customer service, fair pricing & does great quality work. This is proven by how busy they are most days and you often need to book a week or two in advance. But they will always fit you in for an emergency flat repair & the like. I have always been happy with their service, pricing & workmanship.

My wife and I were passing through Nakusp, B.C. on July 4th after spending the night at Nakusp Hotsprings campground. When we started our truck the low tire pressure indicator alerted us to a problem; it turned out to be a screw in a rear tire. We limped our way out to the main highway looking for cell service, once online, my wife called Kal Tire and let them know what was going on. They told us they can have a look right away. Within minutes of our arrival the tire was off and being repaired. 30 minutes later it was back on.
When my wife was ready to pay, she was informed that the tire repair was "On the House", and to have a safe trip back to Maple Ridge, B.C.
It's rare in this day and age, that this type of thing happens, but says a lot about the two men manning this Kal Tire franchise. They're priority was the customer, and it shows.

We were on our way home to Vanvouver Island and we got a screw in our Porsche 911 tire near the Needles Ferry. It was 7:45 am, I called Kal Tire in Nakusp after self inflating the tire with the on board compressor. We got to Kal Tire(thankfully) and they took us in right away and got us back on the road within the time it took us to have a coffee. Amazing and efficient service. Thank you Kal Tire Nakusp!

A slow leak in one of tires was threatening to pause or vacation. Stopped at the Kal Tire store in Nakusp BC. Jay Whyte-Waddington was extremely friendly and efficient. Told us to go for a coffee and come back. After exploring the town of Nakusp we returned to the store. Jay told us that we had picked up a nail and the flat was repaired. Despite our objections Jay told us there was no charge and to enjoy our vacation. We did enjoy our vacation and plan to share our great experience with Jay and Kal Tire with our friends and family. Thanks Jay!

Hands down the best service I have ever received! We came from alberta and had to be in winlaw for 4pm the next day and I had a serious tire issue we pulled up minutes after closing and we didn't think we were gonna get any help we had tried 2 places before kaltire no one had what we needed but 2 of the kaltire boys happend to come out they gave us advice on where to stay and offered to help us out the next morning despite having multiple other jobs on the go that day Jay and the crew found me 4 tires at an amazing price installed all of them and balanced them and had us on our way by 2pm amazing staff and customer service!
