Todo bien con la camper, pero la falta de comunicación entre imoova e indie campers afectó mi sueño. Ya que el equipo de indie campers desconocía lo que imoova había acordado conmigo. Esto me obligó a comprar ropa de cama, generándome un costó que no había presupuestado. Todo bien con el funcionamiento, pero la camper tenía focos rotos, las cortinas algunas bajaban, otras no, el nivel de aceite era bajo y para ser una camper con 24.300 km aprox estaba bastante dañada, el closet estaba todo roto. Para relocar está bien, pero para rentarla de vacaciones está bastante dañada para lo que te cobran

First experience of van life for a 4 day trip to the Baltic sea. The van was great, clean, well equipped and functional. The service was great, easy pickup, all questions were answered. Pick up point is outside of Berlin and 5 minutes away from the miles service limit. Miles or Uber are 2 good options to get there. We paid for premium insurance and additional options to be super safe and comfy. We'll do it again

Wir sind von Berlin nach England gefahren und waren begeistert. Unser erster Trip mit dem Wohnwagen: 2 Erwachsene und zwei unter 6 Jährige fast 3000 km und 11 Tage wirklich unterwegs. Für uns bisher der schönste Urlaub trotz Wetter Schwankungen von 5 Grad bis 25 Grad und mega Regen bis hin zu strahlenden Sonnenschein. 2 bis 3 Tage war es möglich nicht an einen Campingplatz halt zu machen (ohne Nutzung der Dusche). Der Ford Weinsberg mit einer Länge von 6,5 m ließ sich sehr gut steuern, trotz enger Straßen und links Verkehr war er auch in England sehr gut zu manövrieren. Die Kamera zum Rückwärts fahren, war gold wert. Er bietet mega viel Platz im Inneren, sodass auch zwei kleine Fahrräder und ein Scooter locker Platz hatten. Unter Bäumen werden wir jedenfalls nicht mehr stehen, da es doch Recht laut war, wenn der Wind die Tropfen auf dem Dach geworfen hat oder es einfach nur sehr Doll geregnet hat, was nachts schon laut war. Heizen und kochen hat auch alles sehr gut funktioniert. Ungewohnt ist es mit so wenig Platz abzuwaschen und für mich persönlich mit das nervigste und schwierigste. Den Kühlschrank haben wir nur benutzt wenn wir gefahren sind, oder am Campingplatz angeschlossen waren. Wäsche und nasse Sachen konnten wir verteilt zum trocknen aufhängen. Dank guter Verdunkelung konnten wir etwas länger schlafen. Bei der Übergabe hat alles gut geklappt. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub auch wenn das Wetter nicht so mitgespielt hat, wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben. Mit diesem Wohnmobil kann ich mir jedoch alles vorstellen. Danke und gerne wieder.

The pick up center is located much better than the previous one. Plenty of campers and nice boats around.
The pick up and drop off worked well for us. Especially at drop off it was very friendly attitude and nice small talk. I asked to take a look inside the brand new Weinsberg camper and it was no problem at all. Keep it mind all team speaks English , hardly any German. It was impossible to reach the place by phone, so I give one star less...

"My experience with this company was extremely disappointing. When I picked up the campervan, it already had damages and issues like problems with the ventilation, interior, and water pump, which I reported to the company before taking the vehicle. When I returned the campervan, they accepted it without any comments or noting any issues. However, 8 days after we returned to our home country, we were shocked to receive an email claiming there was new damage, and they charged us €4636.74 unfairly, despite us having paid for full insurance that should have covered any damages. This company took advantage of us and falsely held us responsible for damages we didn’t cause. I strongly advise against doing business with them."

Excellent experience. I relocated a van from Barcelona to Berlin and had a very pleasant trip, the van was perfectly equipped, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and everything worked great. Both the check in and check out went super quick, I was well attended on both places, the guys were super nice and made sure I had everything I needed. I’m really amazed. We were given a dirty van at the Munich location. The refrigerator stunk of mildew and fish, the brakes were wearing thin, the fresh water tank was empty and the grey water tank was half-filled, one of the windows wouldn’t seal all of the way, and the spare wheel was already being used on the passenger side. We were assured that the tanks were filled/emptied at the pick up but learned after we left that they were not. Obviously, the other problems we did not become aware of until we were on the road already. The customer service wasn’t great either. They decided to only refund me €60 for these issues, then forgot to check if the refund was processed. I am still waiting for the refund today. These guys have the right idea, just poor execution. Make sure you double check your van before you drive it off the lot!

Very disappointed with my experience with IndieCampers!

We had a number of issues (see below), but the two big issues were that our van wasn't sufficiently prepped for our trip and the customer service is very, very unhelpful.

- The cooking kit we were provided was incomplete, based on the description on the website. We were missing a knife, the second pot, and a lid. When we returned the van, the manager was surprised that no one informed us that we were given an incomplete kit. It was known to him. It was really a bummer spending the first few days looking for a suitable knife.
- The van smelled bad, which we eventually traced to the sink. We emptied the grey water tank and there was a lot of water. Given the stench, we assume it had not been cleaned out for some time.
- The propane cylinder policy should be explained much more clearly, both on the website and at pick up. We were told that any OBI store should be able to fill the propane tank, but at no point did we find one that would. I reached out to customer service for clarification on the policy and they were amazingly unhelpful. They didn't seem to understand how the van works at all, insisting that I need to buy a new (refillable, 10kg) propane tank in order to not be charged 90 euro.
- The bedding provided was insufficient. Although we did receive all the items listed, we were very cold, even in July. We had to buy extra blankets to make up for it.

The van itself (VW California) was awesome, so five stars for VW.

I emailed all of this to IndieCampers immediately after our trip and relayed it in the feedback form, but received no response at all. Pretty consistent with the experience we had trying to get help from customer service during our trip.
