My experience yesterday was one I didn’t expect to have to deal with at a rental car company. I must share my experience so others know what they need before going to this location. We learn by our faults and others mistakes. We had our car reservations for 4pm that day and the woman refused to give us the car even though it was already ready and prepared. She informed us that the company will charge us $65 an hour to picking the car early. Is that a thing? A policy? I’ve heard of $65 a day not an hour. Anyhow, I felt that was poor customer service and that we have to return back at 4pm to pick up a car that was already ready.

Well we return and couldn’t get the car because we didn’t have a physical driver’s license but we had the documentation showing the renew and new drivers license information. The country is currently suffering with a plastic shortage. This was the reason. Anyways, be prepared with dealing with this location.
We ending up getting the car and placing the reservation in her husband name.

Hertz that truly hurt in customer service. I hope others are treated well from foreign countries.

Tonya is a horrible manager only cares for her P & L. I been renting at the location for 2 years on and off for long periods this year it has been 7 months and going. I been very loyal to the location and you would think after giving her so many months of me renting at the location that I could get what ever car I want but its far from the truth. So if you think renting from the location a lot and will give you the perk of getting what ever car you want on the lot you are wrong. Stay away from the location if you are used to the red carpet treatment. If you are not looking for perks then its a great location because the staff is very helpful and nice. But no perks given at the location.

The manager Tonya is amazing. I had family that was in the area and was having the hardest time finding a rental 1 way back to Tampa, Florida. She was great to work with so easy going and very accommodating. She was even able to extend the rental for 2 more days! Thank you again Tonya for bringing our family back together again!!!

At first I thought well low stars ⭐️ reviews! But the insurance company said that is our opinion so when we got there 3 ladies TERESA PAOLA AND CAROLYN became 10 ⭐️ with our situation as all know HAIL hit us hard! But these Charlie’s Angels Save my Day on a very very hectic week! THANK YOU GUYS YOU ROCK!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The manager Tonya was exceptionally awesome! The variety of vehicles is limited due to the size of the lot though - that's typical in Midland for car rental though.
They were quick & had my paperwork ready for the car when I got there. The young lady at the desk was so sweet!

Horrible customer service. Made a reservation. 10 am. Pick up your car at the airport. I’m at the airport at 10am. Lady at the counter was very rude. We don’t rent insurance claims here. Go to Wall st location. Call. No answer. Call no answer. Call no answer. Not only is there no answer but you get dropped when on hold so you get to start all over. Get to Wall St. at 11am. Cars not ready. Why was I told to go to the airport? “I dont know”. I ask well. Who does know? You must have called corporate. Nope. Called the local midland number. Phones ringing off the wall while I sit here. This business has no concept whatsoever of customer service. Not sure the others are any better. But I’ll never use Hertz again.

I had an excellent experience with Midland Hertz. The staff were very competent and it was a pleasure to do business with them. They even put me in a brand new car.
Enterprise could learn a lot from them.
