I am very sad to be writing this poor review, as it ruined a 3.5 year relationship between myself and the dealership in question. I went into Glacier with my 2023 Civic Si, looking to trade for a 2023 Integra they had on the lot. We completed the trade and paperwork. The vehicle has a Noticeable vibration above 100km/h, becoming very severe above 130.

Naturally, not easily noticeable in test drive speeds of 0-80. New tires were also placed on the vehicle, as this vibration existed at trade in, and this was a solution they came up with. Along with resurfacing the rotors(questionable action) They went from Continental ContiProContact A/S to General G-max All seasons, a worse tire in grip and overall performance.

The wheels should have been balanced at this point. If a wheel did not balance, it should have been inspected for damage. Despite this, the vehicle was sold to me as is.

I was also pressured to buy a third party warranty over a Honda or Acura extended warranty, which costs double that of the Acura extended warranty. Very poor process with financing department.

Thankfully, there was an error in the first contract, so my original contact was void. Therefore I did not sign the contract for the vehicle. This is the only thing that saved me from a potential issue prone vehicle. Very poor communication throughout the entire post buying process.

If anyone reads this, I encourage you to advocate for better consumer rights in BC, especially regarding vehicle purchases.
Update 4: I was also charged $1000 for said service and detail, but my vehicle was serviced as recently as 3000km prior to sale. The vehicle was only at 23.5k km when sold to you, so the service was highly unnecessary. Not only that, the Acura was also returned to you detailed and hand washed, with a complimentary clay bar treatment, as it was much needed.

Such a shame, as I had intended on pre-purchasing a Honda Prelude, but that sale has gone to Toyota instead.

Update: Mike, The General Manager, decided it was appropriate to reply to my inquiries at 9:30 pm on a Sunday. All of this, while getting upset that I’m slandering them. Strongly suggest considering another dealership.

Update 2: Honda Canada Consumer Relations has forced the dealership to return my original loan.

we brought our car in for an airbag recall which they had told us had already been done. we then decided to have the car inspected and have some minor repairs done. no issue there, the work was done well. the initial quote we got was a lot lower then the end cost of the inspection and repairs. Honda Canada ended up sending us a letter a week or so later informing us that the recall had in fact not been done yet. this was very disappointing as it was the main reason for visiting in the first place.

My wife and I recently bought a one year old slightly used Honda Pilot Touring. After driving it home there was a Smart Entry System alarm. We took it back to the Dealership and they diagnosed the problem and ordered a Smart Entry module for it. When the module arrived we drove back to the Dealer and they installed the new module. One day later the same alarm returned. In my frustration I phoned and booked an appointment with Glacier Honda in Castelgar. They were able to accurately diagnose the problem and resolved the issue. They provided me with well written and accurate information AND Lana had a video put together with the Technician showing and explaining what they did to resolve the problem. I shared the information Glacier Honda provided me with the Dealership we purchased the vehicle and they willingly reimbursed me the $700.00 for the repair. Very Grateful for the service I received at Glacier Honda 5 stars for sure

Had my catalytic converter changed on my Cadillac through them they were FAST, FRIENDLY, AFFORDABLE. Great crew they have there. Tracy was great fitting me in on short notice and they were super carful with my car keeping it clean (no dirty fingerprints) which i very much appreciate! High fives all around!!

Poor service from "service" department on all interactions. Do not recommend.

Most recently I had an issue with rear view mirror popping out multiple times on 2023 Honda pilot. They popped it back in for the 2nd time and told me they were ordering parts to replace. I have been avoiding moving it at all because i know what will happen if i do. I called over a month later to follow up on ETA for parts and was told they actually did not tell me that they were ordering the part (but they did) and were going to "wait and see". It's a safety concern driving our family vehicle with 2 small children with a dangling, unusable rear view mirror. I'll be calling them when it pops out... probably when I try to move it next. Terrible customer service.
