My twin girls Sage and Sam both started learning Skiing with Evolve during a difficult time in the world. We found Jeff and Daniel really created an amazing camp with great instructors. Weekly sessions are a key to learning skiing and because they also teach snowboarding, Sam the following year switched. They both will be back. Highly recommend this if you are looking to get a new winter sport for the family.

My daughters (10 & 12 years old) had a fantastic time at Evolve skateboard camp in Whistler. We were slightly concerned that they would get bored skateboarding all day as they are not die-hard skaters, but coach Julien kept them entertained with different activities intermixed in with the skateboarding. Also the instruction was top notch with the girls noticeably improving their skills day after day. You know it is a good sign when they didn’t want to leave each day when camp ended and immediately said after it is over that they want to go back next year!

My son has been attending Evolve camps for the last 4 summers and he absolutely loves going. The coaches are always really kind and treat the kids well, the chosen skate parks are excellent, and there's always a back-up activity planned if its rainy weather. The only downside for us is that we live in Langley and the bus service doesn't come anywhere near Surrey/Langley. So this means that I have to drive/pickup my son at the skate park each day. I would love to see Evolve expand to the Surrey/Langley skate parks or have a bus that comes out this way in the future!

My 8 year old son loved the scooter camp offered at Markham Centennial Skatepark. He made many new friends and loved the coaches (Jeffrey, Aiden & Mike). He enjoyed learning about the flows and zones of the park, how to fall safely and even learned how to do a bunny hop. We are looking into the Snow Camp and will be back next Spring or Summer to try out the skateboarding lessons. He also loved the swag prize (Evolve baseball cap) and stickers. Thanks Evolve for a great week!

My daughter had never really skated before and was so confident on her board by the end of the week she was even going down stairs. The coaches were great, she made new friends, and the pool/splash park breaks were super.

My 7/8 year old and his buddy had an amazing week. This is by far one of their favourite summer camps. (He also does rock climbing, space, nature, parkour, bmx, etc.) Prior to camp they had minimal experience on their skateboards, but after a few days with the awesome "coaches" they were flying down ramps and stairs and loving it! The bus was on time for pick up and drop off almost every day (mechanical issues one day), and the weekly schedule was well organized and well executed. They loved going to a different location every day!

My only comment would be for parents to know ahead of time whether their child wants to learn to skateboard or not. A ton of smaller kids just played on the hills and ran around the ramps, which seems like an expensive week if skateboarding isn't the priority.

My son came home every day with exciting stories to tell about how much he enjoyed the summer camp. He loved the encouragement and support he received. Will definitely sign him up again next summer.

My son attended Evolve skateboard camp for the first time last summer. He came home saying it was the best camp he'd ever done and definitely wanted to do 2 weeks this summer. He loves it. Evolve runs a great program...so much fun and confidence and skill development for the kids, and excellent communication and safety assurances for parents. I appreciate how diligent they are with pick up protocols and bus safety, and things like encouraging the use of sunscreen, keeping hydrated, and the use of nearby pools and spray parks to cool off on super hot days. The coaches are all "cool", fun, and relatable role models for the kids. My son and his friend really liked the use of stickers as rewards/incentives this year....they came home with them plastered all over their helmets. 😊 I would highly recommend these camps for any young scooter or skateboard kid!
