I showed up to collect the caddy, staff were friendly on the desk but the caddy was in a sorry state, needing oil change, completely empty tank and without windscreen fluid. Needed to stop three times to check/sort each in the first hour. I would expect the vehicle to be in a better state to drive and not leave it for the person renting to sort things out. The breaks were also dodgy and squeaking. Also somebody had smoked inside the vehicle meaning that I spent the two days driving around with open windows. Nice in the sunshine but less fun when it rains...

The star is for the team at the desk the vehicle unfortunately doesn't deserve any

Thanks so much to Enterprise at Shiremoor for their exceptional service.

Great customer service and hired a van using my Blue Light Card and obtained a reasonable discount.

The vans are all COVID secure and everything has evidence of cleaning.

Offered a upgrade to a larger van, not completed as wouldn’t have been as cost effective, however great customer service with being offerd. 5 stars all the way.

Requested and booked a Luton Van with Tail Lift on 31st January for 26th February for 48 hours due to a house move. Booking online was very easy. Received a courtesy call 22nd February and informed that I would need to pay a £200 deposit on the day which would be refunded if there were no issues or damage upon return of the vehicle. Whilst this was a surprise as there was no mention of this on the website when I made the booking, I nevertheless agreed. Turned up at my alloted appointment time at 09:30am on 26th February to be informed that the Luton van I had requested was not available... the one onsite had been damaged the week prior and the replacement had gone to another branch down south. No courtesy call to let me know and no arrangements put in place with another branch etc... Left truly in the lurch on the day of a house move! Somewhat empty apology and full refund received, however will never use enterprise again, poor poor customer service from supposedly the largest countrywide van hire company!
