I was having issues with my 83 K10 pick up truck after a new carburetor was put on. I was fearful that I had to replace the transmission.
I took the truck to Dennis and Fred. They spent an hour on it and now my truck shifts better than ever.

Blown away by the level of service from these guys! I had my transmission replaced by then roughly a year ago, the service was great and held up the reputation i had hear about the shop. This Friday at 1 pm, as i pulled up to my nephew’s birthday party my shifter in my Tahoe failed completely; the linkage broke and i couldn’t shift it at all! It was stuck in neutral and the car wouldn’t turn off or release the key. I called the shop and explained the situation to Freddy; he immediately stopped what he was doing to help me out. Within minutes he picked the car up, took it to the shop, did the repair and dropped it back off to me all within 45 min!!!! I couldn’t believe it! i was ready to have to call a tow truck and be stranded for hours. I thanked him repeatedly and even with this level of service, he persistently refused to allow me to pay him anything or even tip him for the repair or the white glove service. Best shop around. They’ve earned a customer for life!!! Thanks again Freddy.

To find a trustworthy mechanic is like finding a diamond in the rough. Well.... I guess I found my diamond. I received multiple estimates to repair my 2016 Cadillac CTS. My gears were slipping and driving extremely rough. All of my estimates were over 2,000 to repair. My close friend Paul at Boca's Bests recommended Duro transmission. Duro staff quickly diagnosed my vehicle problem within 1 day. Duro diagnosed my vehicle with having a defective transmission sensor. Duro quickly had my vehicle back in service within no time. Best transmission shop in South Florida, recommended by my mechanic to rebuild the transmission on my dodge ram. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also stand behind their work even after the one year warrenty was up they still took my truck in to adjust the shift point for free. 10/10 will use them again if the need arises, just hoping it doesn't.

I filed a claim through my insurance company for water damage due to Hurricane Irma. I noticed my transmission was not shifting properly after my car took on a lot of rain water. My insurance company requested that I get a diagnostic report at a transmission repair shop. So I called Duro Tran, mainly because it has a lot of positive reviews. I spoke to Dennis, who is an incredibly helpful, skilled, and honest mechanic.

During the phone conversation, he explained how the transmission is potentially affected when water is around or inside it, which was educational for someone like me, who is not knowledgeable about transmissions. He also offered a free diagnostic, which you would think is common nowadays, but it actually is not as typical as you might believe. Most transmission repair shops charge for the diagnostic.

Dennis and his wonderful staff performed the diagnostic and determined that no water had entered the transmission and it was simply needing transmission fluid, which had run low. He called me back within only 2 hours of dropping the car off. He filled it up with fluid and when I drove it away, the transmission was shifting smoothly. I am writing this a couple weeks after the experience, and I can tell you that the transmission is still working properly.

So I closed my claim with the insurance company and saved a lot of time, money, and energy thanks to you guys! I only paid $21 total for the whole job! These guys truly care about their customers and removing hassles while being honest, which you don’t see often these days... Between being treated fairly and like family and seeing someone else’s beautiful, majestic, classic Cadillac being worked on inside the garage, I felt like I traveled back in time to much simpler and friendlier days! I give you all 5 stars, and if the transmission acts up again, I know who to call!
