I recently purchased a Stihl 500i from Doc Mills and Man! I love this saw. I called on a Saturday morning, made the deal over the phone, and went to pick it up. Doc took the time to get it all put together. He answered all of my questions and showed me every feature. He even threw in a extra chain and cool hat! Before deciding to buy, I researched and visited every Stihl dealer in my area. None of them had the selection, knowledge, and expertise of Doc Mills. If you're looking to buy a chainsaw, quit looking around and just give Doc a call. You'll be glad you did!

The kind of place where service is just as important as the products being sold. Walked in, asked for a product. I was guided on the purchase. The owner made sure the equipment was working and filled up before we left the store. I had my 5 month old with me and he even offered to carry it out to the car for me. I know when he said if you have any trouble to call or stop by, he ment it. I know this will be a local store that will continue to get my business. Helpful and very knowledgeable staff that will go the extra mile.

I've only been here a few times for parts, and once to have a chainsaw sharpened. Decent prices and service friendly enough.

Regarding parts, it is best to call them and see if they have it in stock. Most times for me, parts had to be ordered and took a few days to get in, which is no big deal.

If you need a part for a brand they don't service, they will give you the name of another local shop that has what you need.

Went to Mills in February to make arrangements for pick up of my mower. Did not hear from them and went there a total of 3 times over two months trying to get my mower repaired saying they would get to me in a week or two. Now July and have not heard a thing from them. Went to another repair shop and from first call till delivered back to me was only two weeks, I also had other things done to the mower and the final price came back cheaper than what Mills said was typical for the original repair. Not sure what has changed there, Last work I had done there was over $400 and was very happy with the work. Now cant even get them to call. Disappointed because I had my eye on a new commercial Toro ZTR and Doc was very helpful on the phone with my questions. Not going to buy an expensive commercial unit from them if I cant get anything fixed.

Took my 21” Snapper self-propelled mower with a 4-cycle Wisconsin Robin engine here for service as it wouldn’t start.

After waiting a month, I called to see if the mower had been serviced yet. They were waiting on a part. The next week I received a call saying it was ready to pickup. Total cost of $151. Once back home, tried to start it & wouldn’t it start. I pulled off the air filter housing & it was the same filter I installed earlier this year. I was charged for a new air filter. The oil filter was the same spin-on filter I installed in March. I was billed for a new oil filter! I pulled off the carburetor float bowl chamber and it was full of a gelatinous mess that caused the float valve not to seat when the chamber was full of fuel causing the engine to flood.

Over the years, I have purchased $1000’s of dollars from Dr. Mills and this is what I get for being a loyal customer! Loyal customer no more!!!
