Booked car online as a foreign visitor. Fair prices.
Day after, a nice guy ( Isaac ) contacted me to advise me which documents to bring due to non UK citizenship. Nice that they cared, they could just say to read terms and conditions.

On arrival (10am) they were quite busy, but I received a better car than I originally booked.
No pushy tactics to buy extra insurance cover either. Booking lady was very polite.

They don't supply Baby and booster seats, so sort this out in advance if you need one.

Returning car was quick.
Overall experience- very good.

Staff were polite. Other than that, I wasn't given the van that i had reserved and when the van was shown to me it was absolutely filthy. I had to accept the vehicle as I needed the it for work. The van needed cleaning throughout the cab. I'll never use this company again. Such a let down.

Went here for a job, on my first day, I was asked to wait for my training to begin, over an hour and a half later still no one spoke to me, I wasn't offered a drink or anything so I left. I emailed the loverly lady who hired me to express my feelings and had no response. Not the first impression I was hoping for.

Rented a 7.5 ton to move a friend who’s moving company let them down.
Excellent service from County especially Brent who went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was ready for us on that date.

Back to county after 2 years to rent a van this time , great customer care service provided from the guy on the counter ( Issac I think his name is ) very helpful and got us a vehicle the same day unlike some other companies.

Booked a van online based on the price. Turned up and was allocated a 69 plate sprinter. Cracking van to drive, good power and a country mile from other stuff I've rented in the past. Clean, low miles and well specced.

Counter service was excellent, van did an admirable job and we put 500+ miles on it in under a week. Both hand overs went smooth and I'd not hesitate to call them again should I need a van. Great job, county. You're a credit to the trade ?

I would give 0 stars if was an option.
After renting a vehicle for 2 weeks over Christmas 2023 on returning we were accused of smoking in the vehicle. My husband does smoke and I am sure the smell would have been present on his clothing but AT NO POINT did he smoke in the vehicle. A sad attempt at pictures of "ash" (bear in mind the rain and wind we had experienced the vehicle had plenty of winter residue in it) were sent to us which proved nothing. County enforced a fee of 250 pound for "decontamination" which conveniently was the amount of our full refundable deposit!!!!
I am not letting this drop, I will not be TOLD we did something when we did not....we vehemently deny County's accusations. Avoid this company at all costs, especially if you are a smoker who may turn up to return a vehicle with the smell of smoke on your clothing. We regularly rent vehicles when we are in the UK, we only used County on this occasion due to location. Never again.
