We had a wonderful time exploring CA National Parks with one of Mike’s Sprinter Vans! Mike made transportation from and to the airport easy and convenient! The van itself has water (sink) and electricity (30 Amp hookups and plug ins inside the vehicle). The solar panel seemed to help provide some power to the fridge, while driving longer distances helped charge the lithium batteries up to 70-90% when we didn’t have campsites with electric hookups. It was the ideal camper van for two traveling on a camping/hiking adventure! The space would be very tight with any more than two. Keep in mind there is little storage for luggage. We found it best to store our suitcases and other items on the bed during the day when not in use. There are small cabinets and drawers for some items and Mike was helpful in providing some of the essentials like towels, blankets/sheets, and cookware. The van does have a very small shower and toilet which were a nice reassurance to have if we really needed to use them. We had a wonderful trip and the van did the job well! I highly recommend booking one for your next adventure!

We had an amazing time in the Winnebago Solis from California Van Life! Mike was awesome! We were flying into Fresno, so he made sure we were well set up for camping with bed linens, towels, and a wide array of cooking items, as well as the basics like paper towels and dish soap. The propane was included too! The van was in good shape and we had no issues. Having the solar panels to charge up the batteries was awesome—we didn’t run the generator at all.
My kids loved the pop top bed and there was plenty of space for all 4 of us—though my 6’7 husband found the bed too short.

Mike was very helpful, answering all our questions both before hand through email and at pick up. He is fairly flexible on pick up and drop off times and was incredibly understanding when a wildfire closed the main highway and forced us on a 3 hour detour resulting in us returning the van 3 hours later than expected. Clovis was SUCH a convenient location! So close to FAT airport and within a short drive of so many iconic destinations: Big Sur, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, and wine country. Having a home on wheels to explore was a big advantage!

Highly recommend Mike and California Van Life. We hired the Winnebago Solis and had an awesome trip to Sequoia and Yosemite. The Solis was a joy to drive and operate. It was really modern, clean and comfortable. Mike was super helpful and gave us a great introduction during the handover and showed us how to operate everything. We'll definitely be hiring from Mike again when we're back in California!
