Our car was taken while at the avail lot. The person who stole it had the keys, so likely an inside job. Avail instructed me to file a police report and insurance claim, after misleading me for eleven days that the keys were lost, then the vehicle was at the dealer being rekeyed, none of which was true. As of this date, the car has been recovered by APD but not repaired or totaled. it has been 67 days since I dropped it off. The body shop doesn't want to touch it because of "probable drug use" and I don't blame them. Avail works well when things go well, but lacks the ability to deal with challenges. There's no manager to talk to. There's no way to call "leadership". We have shared at DIA maybe three times in the past, no issues. But this time it has been a nightmare for us. I would not recommend sharing with Avail with your primary vehicle unless you can afford to buy a new car if something happens.

Update: I emailed the address suggested in the Avail’s response a week ago. I have not received any response to my email.

Update #2 (11 Feb 2024)- Avail never followed up with any explanation as to what happened. Their insurance company eventually paid and we now own another car. It’s not that the idea of sharing cars wouldn’t work- but a partnership requires trust and communication, two things that were lacking in my dealings with Avail.

Avail was one of the best travel experiences we have had! I am so glad that I checked out the online ad I saw for their service. From the online reservation to the check out at Denver to ease of use and check back in, Avail prevailed. Stephanie and Madison were kind, helpful and went over and above to make sure our experience was top notch!!! We saved a ton of money, we’re covered by Allstate and had a sense of ease during our 5 day stay in Denver. They are located at many major airports so we look forward to utilizing Avail in the future!! Thank you!!!

Holy cow, what a terrible service. Gave them my car for a year. What did they do? Well, according to the 16 calls over 6 months, and 5 different stories, here is what I can piece together. I spoke with Rukia today who was the worst customer service of all time. I have no idea how this company still exists. She had the wrong reservation, had no answers, and just said the car had $7k worth of damage.

So, now I lent my car to Avail of r18 months. I earned $5500. My car got $7000 worth of damages that they refuse to cover. I also apparently have to pay for parking, which they claimed they provided.

If you want to hire a lawyer to sue Avail, then they are the best option for loaning your car out. And Rukia, wow, hang up if she answers. Haven't met many people more rude.

You cannot talk to a supervisor according to her, you must wait 5 to 10 days. All the while, parking charges occur.

WHAT A TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME THIS COMPANY IS. Avoid at all costs! Lawsuit pending now.

We just had our first experience with Avail and it was awesome. Super easy from start to end. Park DIA shuttle drops you right at the entrance of the parking lot and an Avail rep is there to meet you instantly and get you on the road. Less than 10 minutes check out process. Car was great. And no young driver fee was a huge bonus. Check out process was even easier: Kathleen was super friendly helpful on check out and got us out of the car and onto a shuttle in about 5 minutes. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Awesome experience!! Had Madison upon arrival and departure and she was amazing to deal with, super professional and sweet. No problems at all with the vehicle at all. Perfect for what we needed.

I had a wonderful experience with Avail. I was able to get a rental car at a decent price that didn’t charge me for my age! Insurance was included and you only had to fill the gas up to where it was last at. Floor offered me excellent customer service! She requested a shuttle in a timely matter to get me to the the airport so I could catch my flight on time. She was sweet and helpful! Thank you Avail! I will be using you again.
