Would never recommend as to easy to lose your money if the carrier lets you down. We booked 3 bikes to be transported but the carrier (Simon Rixon - S R Express) did not show up on the day causing us all sorts of problems and additional costs. The carrier doing the return leg was a diamond and very reliable. This bloke Simon asked for the balance (£300) upfront but never showed up then promised to do a full refund which I'm still waiting for. My main issue with Delivery Quote Compare is that they take no responsibility for the carriers they are offering you and when things go wrong (like mine did) you are on your own to sort it out. Under no conditions pay the carrier upfront until after the service has been provided. I was told by the carrier it was a condition of the transport confirmation which is complete bull. I've had to go through my bank to try and get a refund and reported this scammer to Action Fraud. Please be careful as this Company are very quick to wash their hands saying the agreement is between you and some unknown person who can turn out to be a complete scammer. You have been warned.

James from DeliveryQuoteCompare was fantastic in helping me out to get transport to collect a boat on a broken trailer for me. Extremely proactive and helpful. He put me on to a transport company run by Gareth who was superb. I fully recommend and will definitely use again.

I used this service for the first time last month. I accepted the quote and was in communication with the driver, on the day he did not arrive. This error cost me hundreds of additional pounds! When I contacted the website for a refund they said they would her back to me and still have not. I expended this deposit would promptly returned as it was clearly the error of the driver/ transport company. I have sent more follow up e mails and received NO replies. I would NOT use this service.

Absolutely brilliant service. I honestly cannot recommend enough. The removal guys arrived, and got the job done in lightning speed. Very pleasant and they were extremely professional throughout. I needed to have my possessions moved/shipped from London to Edinburgh on the same day, and whilst understanding of the difficulties attached to this, everyone involved were nothing short of amazing, so thank you. To say i'm impressed and very grateful is an understatement. Everything was dealt with in a way I can only describe as 'military precision' and with excellent customer service along the way. Delighted. It made my move a lot less stressful, and once again being totally honest, I didn't expect the level of service I received. Just brilliant, and I will be sure to use you guys again. (I know it sounds a tad over the top, but entrusting my possessions with someone i've never met is a bit daunting, but I have to say it worked out brilliantly). Company like this shouldn't exist. I signed with them and I didn't know they gone charge me how they like. In 2 months 2 until I find out they charge me more than £100.00 pounds. I believe there is some people on computer and soon you sign with them they start pulling your money how they like every week different amount. This company never send an email saying you have charge for this and that. Never send you any jobs or an alert. If you sign with them you gone be robbed every week. Thank you
