The bad outweighs the good actually. This should be a safe haven for people but unfortunately it’s not and I’ve witnessed a few things. Well, let’s dive right in with the positive some are the staffs are here to guide you through your situation, they try to provide for what the Miami Dade County gives them. The negative side of things about this place it sits right on the corner literally it’s not blocked by anything it’s really easy to find, they don’t provide the quality of food and what is put out it’s gone quickly it has gotten me sick and some others as well they try to make the ladies provide good meanwhile this place should have it to give and not make them struggle, I tried reaching out to the Mayor down the line nobody returned my call as of yet, it’s so many things about this building it’s unsafe I don’t see how it pass the inspection when it should of been torn down and rebuilt it’s literally mold in the showers and roaches infected heavy but some of the staffs accused the residents for the issue when you can see it’s a major issue with the place and it smells old to the point where you must step outside to catch yourself nobody should have to live nor work under these conditions at no circumstance. If they can build down south a nice facility they need to do that here not let people suffer because that’s exactly what it is. The county honestly need to do better and break the funds that’s needed to make this place better and no I’m not speaking on just repainting or modeling being the construction team and rebuild the place. I want to see a change and something done I’m tired holding my lips closed. Someone please do something to help. Before I may forget they are always claiming they are full when they aren’t which is unacceptable and how I know I looked at the board one time and I watched them on the sly. Someone please help and the staffs shouldn’t have to work in these conditions nor the fellow residents. If I had the option this place would of gotten no stars. I repeat before they put new stuff in this place it needs a makeover and speak with the construction company. This place is utterly disgusting

For unfortunate circumstances i had to live in this place for a while but even though through tough times tis place is like a family especially the kids programs really gives you the motivation to keep trying and not give up. The kids program here not only lets kids feel happy and normal being in that situation but it lets you look up to something. I personally know since i was a kid and participated in lots of the activities that really motivated me to just not give up and made me feel better. All i can say is that the activities director does all she can for everyone too feel a bit happier and bit better

This place is dirty nasty ugly food is frozen they don't have anything to offer every time I ask for something the staff told we work with donations so if you don't have it then we haven't get the donations , it has cuacarachas no cleaning supplies nothing .I really hate it im moving back to San Antonio Texas

Only gave one star to be able to write a review. This place doesn't help abused woman. One lady that answered the phone told me if I really wanted help I'll walked to another county or state! So unprofessional this place needs to be investigated and closed down
