0 STARS IF I COULD! DON'T RENT FROM CRUISE AMERICA RV IN MCDONOUGH GA! IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCES EVER AND SO DANGEROUS! Cruise America RV needs to shut this location down! All he cares about are selling sheds. People's life could be in danger because of his of caring of the RV maintains. I booked the reservation on May 25th and call on September the 30th for my reservation time I asked to get a good and new RV because I had had trouble with the last one I rented. I called the morning of Wednesday October 9th at 10:12 a.m no one picked up then I called again at 11:00 a.m. and no one picked up. I got a call back at 12:12 p.m. I told the man who answered the phone to please check all the tires and make sure there's no problems with the RV and to fill the water tank up. I was told to fill the water tank it would be an extra $10 cash. I paid it. I got there at 1:00 p.m. my pickup time and he was still cleaning the RV. It was still dirty and I had to come home and clean it. I did the RV inspection and noticed it was in bad shape on all four corners were tore up top to bottom. The water tank was leaking but I was told it was just the Overflow pipe and that it would stop. I could not get the black and gray valves to close so I asked the guy to come over and close them for me. He said they were closed. The shower roof was cracked but I was told that would not be a problem. I noticed the water pump and water check levels would not work. I was told that it would work if I checked the fuse box. They never worked. So I wasted my $10 paying for the water to be filled in the tank. No showers due to the water pump not working. When I RV I live 100% off the RV and don't go to any camp grounds. I noticed during the inspection that the check engine light was on and I asked if he had a another RV I was told he did not even though he did have other RVs on the lot but they all had check engine lights on too. If it wasn't for my $300 reservation fee I wouldn't have gotten refunded. I wouldn't have taken the RV. I'd been planing this trip since May!!! He said the check engine light was just a sensor and would not affect the vehicle. It did not drive over 50 miles per hour. It backed fire and spluttered the whole trip. Both the water tank and the black / gray water leaked the whole time. I noticed on the second day that there was a hard sharp piece of plastic about a fingers tips gap between on the right back tire. We were in Tennessee going down mountains that is not Road safe at all it could have punctured my tires. The shower and over the full bed/passenger /driver seats leaked And there was nothing I could do to stop it. On October 12th at 12:19 p.m. we were pulled over by a cop in Tennessee for having an expired tag. THE TAG EXPIRED IN JUNE!! Then we did not have the insurance papers which is illegal in Tennessee. I called the McDonald's location to get the insurance cards and vehicle registration. He sent the insurance card and then sent the wrong vehicle registration three times that did not match the RV we were driving. I returned home early because of the expired tag and an unsafe RV. Nothing was working and I had no peace of mind on this trip. I rented from Cruise America RV for peace of mind and for a road safe and ready RV this was anything but that. Corporate has not gotten back with me! The only thing I've heard was when I posted a comment on Facebook and they sent a message though messager saying someone would get back to me soon. No one has! Here are the pictures and videos of RV! I expect a trip free from stress instead I got an RV held together by duck tape and prayer. I had to return home early because this RV was neither safe or functional!

Jeffrey was a fantastic host, gave great detail and direction. The RV ran perfectly and provided a fantastic break from reality for a week of traveling. Highly recommend this location for your RV rental needs! They had extras for rent as well, coolers, canopies, kitchen equipment etc

Wonderful experience! Jeffrey was so helpful, kind and responsive throughout the whole process. Seems to mostly be a one man show, and man does he do a good job. Keep in mind that this is a shed business and cruise America is secondary to that, but still important. It’s just him. Cleaning and getting everything ready. Even though we arrived early he was ready for us! The RV was just as expected, a cheap and reliable used RV ready for the masses. Everything worked as expected. We had an open conversation about all servicing, any damages or repair work and he gave me great tips for the first time driver. We stopped at the recommended camp site to dump our tanks, quick easy, cheap and close to the drop off point. I definitely recommend renting from here, but keep in mind it is Cruise America, the U-Haul of RVing. If you want something fancy look for a local rv rental place. Hard to beat this price point though!

Puck up was less than 1hr. I saw a lot of reviews warning people about the long pick up time. Drop off was less than 30mins. The gentleman at the McDonough location was very nice and thorough. The RV was very clean and working well. One of the burners wasn't working but it didn't bother us, we grilled out.

RV was ready at 1 as promised, cleaned and ready to go. Very friendly and explained a lot about the RV to make sure our experience with seamless. Gave us his personal cell just in case we had any issues. Everything worked as should and drop off was efficient as well. Great location since we were able to park our car there. Overall would rent again. Thank you!

When we arrived the RV wasn't completely cleaned, the refrigerator wasn't cold, had to buy ice.
The attendant let the truck battery die because he didn't check it when the last renter brought it in with the headlights left on.
After loading our belongings, the truck wouldn't start. Had to find the attendant again, who then showed us the emergency start. All, a bit stressful after driving 6 hours to pick up the RV for repositioning to the Kissimmee location for refurbishing & sale.

Highly recommend! This was a great experience from start to finish. Jeffrey was very kind and did a great job walking us through how everything works on the RV. First time RV renters, so Jeffrey really eased our minds. Will be renting again in the future!!

We enjoyed our RV. Everything worked great and we were able to get to our in-laws and back very comfortably. We received it clean, the rental agent was friendly, helpful, and really knew what he was talking about. We didn't want the extra $12/day insurance at first, but it really came in handy when we popped a tire. Didn't get charged a thing for them sending a guy to change the tire. We will definitely be using them again.
