After a day of disaster after travel disaster, we came to this location and needed a vehicle to drive to Michigan. Lindsay was more than accommodating and truly went above and beyond to put us in a vehicle. She was the ray of sunshine on a very cloudy day and we appreciate her so much. The staff was very accommodating, the prices very detailed and outlined, and all questions we had were answered efficiently and effectively. The vehicle was spotless as well. Truly an amazing experience.

NO CAR!!! Came from airport. Showed up at reservation time. We’re bleeping stranded. They said they sent a text. They must’ve overbooked, or gave my car to someone willing to pay more. And she said it’s NASCAR weekend and no one has cars. I got no words are.

I booked a rental at this location and have my confirmation and the company calls me 3 hours before to tell me they have no cars available and there is nothing they can do. No empathy just a scripted apology. If you don’t have any cars to book then you should not allow a booking. Plain and simple. You can’t be that money hungry. You should care more about customer service than this. I spend way too much money at Hertz to be treating like this.

Terrible service. It took over an hour to pick up a car, and I was the only customer in the building. They tacked undisclosed fees onto my rental with no explanation, and their communication about why it took so long and what the fees were was non-existant. I thought it would get better when the manager came to help, but no. He was just pain rude.
Two thumbs down. I wish I could give 0 stars. I will not use hertz again, at least not at this location.

This is the sorriest ass excuse for a rental car business or any business I've ever seen. They are not punctual, don't have the vehicle ready when you've done all the checks ins online. Supposed to have my car at 130. 2:04 still waiting for it to be "cleaned" Ok, be nice to get out of Phoenix before rush hour. Terrible experience. ?

Google should have a ZERO star option. The experience with Hertz is horrendous from end to end, puts a little dent on the great trip that me and my friend had. AVOID HERTZ at all costs!!!!
Pick up: At pick up they would not accept my friend's ID because the credit card, driver license and passport has to be 100% match. One of my friend's document is missing the English name and they would not rent the car to us according to their company policy. My friend frequent the states with his family and never had an issue with other rental companies, and he was not informed of such policy, no fine prints either to show that. It is ok I can be the renter instead, but they can't apply the same discount code when we booked the car because it is his corporate discount!! We ended up paying significantly more for our rental than originally planned. It is the first day of this trip so we would just like to get on with it.
Car condition: We picked up a Camry with 60k miles on it from Florida, rental companies charge extra for a different drop off location, assuming they will find a way to ship the car back but NO, they keep the money and keep renting to people, it is a scam.
The car is very beat up for a any car standard: dents, curbed rims, little scathes on the side wall, and we found out later the tires does not match! This could be a road hazard dangerous to the drivers!! The exterior of the car is not clean either, inside the car there are sunscreen mark on the door panel where the arm rests, dirt on the floor and even chip crumps on the door side cup holder.
Phone: We tried to call this location back to ask some questions. It goes to a IVR hell that keeps looping you back to the menu. Finally found an option to speak to a representative at the location, it just tell me good bye and hung up the call. After a few tries and a complete waste of my 15min in the morning I had to give up, not worth my grieve during the trip. I had to call again one evening, and Hertz only answer calls during business hours. Good luck if you ever want to talk to someone from Hertz
Billing: As a consumer I am also at fault for not thoroughly check and ask questions, but we were just so fed up and ready to get on with our trip. On the last day when we looked at the rental agreement. Somehow there is an exorbitant amount charged for a vehicle upgrade that we never asked for, and we had the most beat up car in the whole lot!!! I am so afraid to look at the final amount charge on my credit card, cause I won't be able to talk to anyone if there is any dispute
After this experience I will NEVER EVER rent a car from Hertz again. Rental companies are never god sent but this just blown my mind
Drop off: They do not have after hours drop off, can only drop off during their business hours. It is a bit of an inconvenience for us but can plan around that. Other than that drop off is a breeze with a little wait. There are more people than staff
UPDATE: Hertz has a bot to post automatic reply on poor reviews. Apparently they do not even read or care about them. How dare them try to show sympathy and empathy with no genuinity. I don't need a bot to patronize me!!!! Peace out.
MORE UDPATE: Stop replying to me to show you care when you give me a corporate generic URL to try to show people? I AM NOT WASTING MORE TIME WITH HERTZ.
Final update: This get better!!! When they reply to me the message is meant for a different person!!! I GIVE UP on HERTZ!!!

My car was in the shop so they rented me a car through hertz, when picked it up super people helpful. When dropped off I forgot to put gas in it, asked if I could go fill it up quick "we can't let you do that, once you give us the key" charged 11.00 dollars a gal?
