Picked up my rental covered in rain spots. The tank was not full when I picked up my rental and the attendant told me to bring back with the same amount of gas. I did as told but was still charged over $50 for a gas fee. I have rented from Avis multiple times, this experience ensures I take my business elsewhere.

The first car (Kia sol) was incredibly dirty and the acceleration was off causing safety concerns.
When I went to swap the car out the man who attempted to assist gave me a Smaller car, that had old jarred coffee and issues with AC and the key fob battery dying. It was the worst experience I have had at Avis and would Not recommend due to the faultiness of cars and TERRIBLE customer service.
When I initially picked up the car the woman at the counter answered a personal call- then left the call on while she finished the transaction with me not only is that unprofessional she repeated back private information -that the caller could hear!
Lack of functional cars, downgraded, and lack of service is why I would not ever return or recommend Avis in El Paso.

What a nightmare to go through their service two hours of waiting in the airport going through their preferred front desk employee Gloria that she wasn’t happy or initiative to help or to do her job she charged my card twice on purpose even after I confirmed it went through on the 1st time but she decided to run it again resulting in my card declined, The operation manager Mr. Estrada kept going back and forth trying to prove that not their problem while they have my money in their account,without making a decision to cancel that transaction since the bank told him it’s pending not declined on their real time screen after charging my card and then claiming they didn’t receive it even my bank assured them over the phone speaker in a record voice message that payment went through now the company charged my card 355.76 with no service provided delaying all my work plans to leave El Paso the next day because of their bad management I called them after I went home
around 08:30 PM staying in the phone for almost an hour with no one picking the phone!!!

Worst rental car experience ever. Extremely inefficient. You have to wait in line for over 30min to talk to a fully staffed counter, they take over 10min to find you a car (even when you have a registration prior to coming), and then you have to stand outside in the garage for another 30+ min waiting for someone to bring your car to the pick up area. I have never had a rental car experience take well over an hour to get you in a car. Not worth the slightly lower price. Not using Avis in El Paso ever again.

Customer service representative needs a refresher in her actual duties! Manager is power hungry! Slow, rude, lie and terrible service. Better luck a few counters down with green letters. And half the price!

This rental location sucks. Staff doesn’t have a sense of urgency, and they are rude.
They talk bad about each of their members in front of customers.
Definitely not using Avis next time I’m in El Paso.
Been waiting over one hour to get a vehicle.
There are customers here that have been waiting to get a vehicle a lot longer than me.

Dropped off my rental tonight, the attendant scolded me for almost using the drop box. I handed the key to her, she pointed at the overhead sign that says you can leave the key in the car. I said thank you and left.

I didn’t see the over head sign, but I saw the bright red drop box and its sign that read ‘if you left the key in the car, that’s great, if you still have your key, you can drop it here’. I hesitated trying to decide to drop or put it in the car, she came out, I asked her if she wanted the key, and the scolding began. Not very demure, not very mindful.
