We hired the "Skye" van for 6 nights during our trip to Scotland. The experience was great! The van comes equipped with a gas stove, a small, actually cold fridge, a water pump, a diesel-powered heater (which comes in handy when you're out of battery, but still want a warm bed), a toilet/shower and enough space to gather all your Scottisch trinkets and souvenirs. There are enough charging ports for your phone(s) and a sound installation throughout the back, so you can listen to traditional Scottish Folk wherever you go.

The bed has two pillows, a blanket and a fleece blanket. Two towels are also included. If you're going in February like we did, we recommend bringing some extra blankets because the back of the van, where the bed is, gets cold quickly.

The van itself drives great. Shifting gears left-handed was a bit of a tricky business at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll notice that it goes much easier. It's a trustworthy vehicle that will get you across the Highlands for sure.

The owner is a very nice guy, and both the pick-up and handoff went smoothly. It's a great choice and we recommend this to others who are looking for a smaller, more personal/local company to hire from.

Had a thorougably enjoyable time taking this well equipped camper van all over Scotland.
I took my dog for a road trip in it and she loved leaping into the back and felt quite a home there. It’s a cozy, well thought out mobile home, with music, TV, fridge, warm shower (sometimes too hot! Water pressure can also be a challenge but you are in a van at the end of the day), cooking hob, sink and portapotti (not personally a fan). The van has heating which is a perk during the winter and lots of handy extras including outside table and chairs and oils and cooking utensils. Malek provides a useful video overview of most of the items in the van (I did find the doors a bit stiff to unlock from the inside and a demo of this was not on the video but I messaged him and he quickly explained the knack).

The only one thing I would say about the living space is that the seats (which fold down into a bed) are a two man /woman job to get up back into a seated position - I found it near impossible to do solo! I also couldn’t get the fridge to switch to gas but that may have just been me.

The vehicle itself i think has seen better days - driving wise it took me a while to get the gears to behave (it doesn’t like going into first or staying in first for more than 2 seconds) which led to some anxious hill starts but I got used to it by the end. Tyre pressure and quality of tyres was also an issue I encountered on my trip. I added more air twice into the two front tyres and took the van to a garage as the steering felt loose on one side - he said the tyre tread has worn down on one side and I passed this info onto Malek who will hopefully have them replaced soon. Aside from this my driving experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Malek was a friendly host (even let me use his toilet before I set off) who provided an efficient high quality service. Would recommend and would use again.

Camper and Scotland in tandem is the most beautiful adventure. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Very well equipped, proven. Clean. You can feel at home. The owners are very nice and helpful.
