Had a wonderful experience renting the campervan for a couple of days. Our trip to the Scottish highlands was unforgettable. The campervan drives smoothly, is fuel efficient, comfy, and well equipped with necessities. Thanks to John for making our trip possible. He is friendly and professional. We had the most amazing trip to the Scottish Isle of Mull. The camper was perfect for two of us, loads of room and perfectly specced for cooking and relaxing. It was very easy to drive and we were able to reach all the camp spots we wanted. Super easy pickup, John was ace, very flexible with pick up and drop off. We’re planning on building our own van out soon and he’s offered his advice should we need it. Lovely bloke! We will likely be hiring again, 10/10.

We had the best week in this campervan up along the west coast of Scotland. The van is immaculate and worked perfectly for everything we needed! The pop top roof is great for more space in the evenings.

John was very helpful and responsive throughout the booking process and while we were using the van.

Had a last minute request after having an unexpected cancellation with another company.

He managed to sort us out with a van with 48 hours notice and it was perfect for a couple.

Booked for four days and could have stayed for a few weeks at least, we miss the van dearly.

Would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon as we can escape again.

Just back from a lovely week on the west coast of Scotland taking in the Isle of Arran.
Benji the camper van we hired was great and good value for money. Drove like a car very economical on fuel and easy to handle on smaller roads.
Johns handover was informal yet informative explaining everything needed to make sure our hire went smoothly.
The van was well equipped, comfortable and warm thanks to overnight heater when required.
Would certainly recommend Lust For Life and we will be back

We enjoyed an amazing week touring the Highlands. The hire process worked very well and John provided a really helpful overview of the van including how to raise and lower the roof. This was great for us as whilst familiar with the appearance of the T6 we weren't used to its layout or how to operate things. The van was brilliant, the real touring experience, and, also, well equipped. Highlights of the week included pirouetting around each other to get dressed in the morning whilst the bed was lowered and trying to pour water from a five litre bottle into a flip lid kettle unassisted. We also met a fantastic camp site owner at Laid nr. Durness who welcomed us and allowed us to hook up to the electricity supply through his living room window. Casting the cable so that he could grab it through his window was comic genius. In summary, a great experience.

Een heerlijke week in Schotland gehad met een bij John gehuurde camper. De VW-camper was voorzien van alle gemakken en dankzij de dieselverwarming zelfs in het vroege seizoen met open dak goed op temperatuur te krijgen. Het draaien van de voorste tweepersoonsstoel was even wennen maar enorm fijn om met zijn drieën voorin te kunnen zitten. De service van John is super: hij haalt je op en brengt je terug naar DFDS, bovendien reageert hij snel op app en mail. We zouden het zo weer doen.
