Wildcat Campervans - Glasgow

What a fantastic company, staff, campervan and holiday. Can't praise the team enough for all their help it making our holiday amazing. The van was perfect for the 2 of us for out two week tour of Scotland. Just big enough to eat sleep and drive but small enough for the single track roads . It was clean comfortable reliable, cost effective and perfect for our needs. I highly recommend them and talking to other travellers Wildcat is definitely one of the best out there.

Firstly, the staff who I dealt with, Janet & Chelsey, were great. No issues with them, at all, and they tried their best to resolve the issue which severely impacted my trip. However, the camper I was given for my Skye adventure, wasn't great. There was no heating in the van. I booked into a campsite for 4 nights at a cost of £120 but got no benefit from being plugged in as the heating in the Camper wouldn't work. I contacted the company the next morning and Chelsey and Janet were as helpful as they could be but could not resolve the issue. I drove to despite to Mallaig to purchase and replace a fuse. Still no joy. By the third night, it was too cold and unpleasant so we came home a day earlier. On the way home whilst travelling along single lane country roads, the van cut out twice losing all power. Very fortunate the steering lock didn't come on!
So, with the significant problem of no heating, cutting my trip short, I was not given any kind of reimbursement.
To add insult, they deducted the cost of replacing a square foot of glass (£70) which acted as a cover for the basin in the van, which shattered, inexplicably, when cleaning the van before returning.
I stress, the staff were great but the management decision not to show good customer service has left a sour taste and I will not use the company again. Which is a real shame as it is reasonably priced and local but I will be using an Edinburgh company from now on.

Well deserved 5 Star Review - from initial call to team and initial visit to look at a camper our experience was surpassed. We visited 3 other rental firms and none came close to the Wildcat Team in terms of customer experience. On pickup day Janet gave a very thorough walk through of the van and took her time to make sure we were comfortable to depart on our adventure on the NC500! Family of 3 and dog enjoyed every bit of our driving and camping experience around the North and West of Scotland. Returning van to team again an absolute pleasure - asked about our experience and listened to all our feedback. Can't reccomend them enough - if you are looking to hire a campervan for a fun adventure don't hesitate to speak to the team at Wildcat Campervans / Glasgow!

Just returned from an amazing trip around the west coast of Scotland in a Wildcat campervan. I hired a 3 berth Panther and it was fantastic. Everything i needed for the perfect gettaway. I have nothing but praise for all the friendly and helpful staff at Wildcat. A lovely bunch who were fab from the first contact. I recieved a thorough briefing on how to use the van which was reassuring being a first time campervaner. Can't recommend Wildcat enough. I'll be using them again for my next trip.

Hired one of the 3 berth campervans and was so impressed from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and helpful with any queries. The campervans are fully equipped with everything you need and are all pretty much brand new with not many miles on the clock so that was a bonus. I travelled around the north coast 500 and it was amazing to drive around in. First class service, great value and I’ll be using them again for my next trip.
