The van is very cozy, clean and taken good care of, full of a lot of nice small things like cutlery and spices, which help you on your trip.

It takes you some time to adjust to it, but when you did, it’s a pure pleasure.

We rented a California van in July 2023. Wonderful experience. Linda and Jeremy prepared it with great care and taste. Blankets, bedding sets, mugs, spices, cafetiere and tea pot, everything was just perfect. Even by rainy weather we felt cosy. Should we return to Scotland, we would rent it again for sure. Thank you Linda and Jeremy!

We rented a VW California (the 'Santa Rosa') for 10 days to help us complete the NC500. It was hands down the best decision to rent with Linda and Jeremy! From the start, Linda was super quick to respond and extremely helpful. Jeremy made us feel comfortable with his thorough tutorial and relieved a lot of stress with pick up from the train station and drop off to our next accommodation. The van was in perfect condition, was easy to maneuver, and comfortable to camp in. It was the perfect home away from home! We highly recommend and would rent from California Scotland again in a heartbeat!

Linda and Jeremy have made our trip a joy from A to Z! we fell in love with Scotland and even better: we fell in love with Betty (full name: Betty Blue) - the VW California we rented for two weeks. the van was in excellent condition and she was very well equipped. everything you can imagine was on board. we loved the herbs and spices, the pillows, the woolen blankets, the guide books and road map. we used the card deck almost every night and in the morning there was Linda's home made organic blueberry jam. if you consider renting a California to travel Scotland: you have come to the right place. if you aren't considering renting a California to travel Scotland: as from this moment, please do so.

Just finished a wonderful 8 day road trip of the Outer Hebrides in California Scotland’s new VW Cali “Rosa”.

As a solo traveller, the Cali Ocean was just perfect for my needs on this occasion and the preparatory advice and documentation provided by Jeremy and Linda was outstanding.

The van was delivered in pristine condition and was very well equipped with everything I could possibly need on my road trip, including an excellent Cobb barbecue.

Highly recommended-will certainly return to Rosa or her successors.
