Our 3-story home in Lake Oswego Oregon was heavily damaged by burst pipes during an ice storm in January 2024. Hot water and steam from a tankless hot water heater had poured through the main floor and finished basement for more than 24 hours, soaking floors, carpets, ceilings and furniture. We couldn’t get into the house while this was happening, because the roads were sheets of ice. But we could see remotely through an app that the inside temperature had gone from the low 20s while power was out up to the low 90s when it came back on. We assumed this was just due to a faulty sensor. When we finally were able to get into the house, it looked like a disaster zone.

Our State Farm Insurance agent recommended we start the recovery process by contacting Servpro. Servpro assigned this particular crew from Williamsburg NY to our job. They had come out to Portland to deal with thousands of damaged buildings like ours. We were worried that because of the large number of people affected, it would take us a long time to get our house dealt with. However, one of the Servpro managers was able to meet us at the house as soon as the ice melted, four days after the flooding had occurred. He assessed the damage and explained carefully all that would need to be done. It was daunting, but he made it clear that they could get in quickly, remove all the damaged material, and dry out the walls and floors to prevent any mold growing.

The team of 8-10 workers arrived a couple of days later. They worked methodically, deconstructing all of the wet, affected areas, protecting the salvageable furniture, packing up books, clothes, appliances and other items, and storing them in the garage. The group members were universally friendly and careful. They clearly knew what they were doing and exuded confidence. The two supervisors, Daiber and Philip, were super responsive via email and text and continued to give updates about their progress. Philip was there when the State Farm adjuster came to survey the damage, and he helped explain all of the steps they had to do to mitigate the situation. Because of this additional input, the adjuster changed his assessment to the most urgent category, raising the priority of our claim.

I highly recommend this Servpro franchise. They are knowledgeable, careful, attentive and friendly. Most importantly, they are great communicators. When a trauma like ours occurs, being able to speak with people who have addressed hundreds of similar cases is a great comfort.

Servpro did a phenomenal job for us. They were timely, professional, fairly priced and did a very clean job. We had sewage in our basement from storms in MI. Phil and his team went above and beyond. Our basement was cleaned top to bottom, everything was moved and put back. They cut out damaged drywall without destroying what was still in tact. Our basement came out clean, dry and smelling good! Not to mention their customer service through out the process was great!! 10/10 recommend.

Servpro was simply outstanding. Extremely responsive from the onset, as Nicole picks up the phone every single time and helped coordinate both her work force as well as my insurance company to help expedite.

Elias Duran and his team were incredible - fast, thorough and neat with drying out all water damage in my kitchen, 2nd bedroom (kids room) and nearby hallways, and then coordinating the painting and repair crew, led by Doug, who were also outstanding to work with and all highly skilled. From dry wall repair to painting to floor molding, they worked fast and acted like perfectionists. Total pros. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

I highly recommend Servpro and my crews to anyone.

Fabian, Alejandro and Mike delivered a wonderful, professionalism Job.They were careful and respectful for my home. Phil, Reuben and Elias have restored my faith in the ever-waning quality of customer care that is currently becoming more and more the standard lately. We had a pipe burst emergency...the gentleman were there when they said, delivered exactly what was expected and succinctly presented to me. They helped take a calamity and made it calm. I called Servpro when I had a sewage back up and they came right away to investigate and advise. The estimator did a very thorough examination of the apartment and explained the water damage that occurred and what the industry standard was for cleaning and remediation. They did a great job. Were quick and efficient and professional. Nicole in the office was so helpful and informative and the guys who did the work were so respectful and careful with our home. Couldn't ask for a better experience for an awful situation.
