Alex was great! He listened to my concerns and offered his honest and professional opinion. He was very communicative throughout the entire process, from the consultation to the actual procedure. Anything I did not understand or what was too complex, he explained thoroughly. He was very punctual and got straight to the job. Can’t say enough great things about this company. Long story short, as a condo owner, the lease renewal required a mold/allergen inspection as part of the new Local Law 55 compliance. The building management has recommended several companies (and Kaltech was the preferred choice). I called and emailed those companies for quotes and detail about the testing. Some came back with ridiculous high quotes and a few places charge per visit and/or hourly. The quote from Kaltech was very reasonable and they were very responsive to my emails, so I decided to go with Kaltech. Fernando was my inspector. He came right on time, he checked the wardrobes, cabinets and other areas for mold concerns and leakages. He was very knowledgeable and explained what to do when there is mold and gave me prevention tips. He was very responsive and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend you to contact Kaltech for your next mold/allergen inspection.

Alex was the third indoor air quality company to enter my home and analyze what was triggering my respiratory issue. The other two companies assured me nothing was wrong. Alex figured out quickly the 0.3 particles in my home were at astronomical levels. My basement showed 4million particles compared to the normal 100k-300k range which helped me realize it wasn’t in my head. Something was truly wrong with the air in my house. He tested for mold and got back to me quickly with the results. We elimater the small amount of mold but quickly realized we had to get a better filter and scrub the air.

As the owner of a condo in Brooklyn, which I lease, I am required by New York law to provide a LL55 certificate as proof there is no mold or contaminates in the unit.

I contacted Kaltech Environmental Services to perform the inspection. It is very impressive how thorough Keltech professionals are in their inspection, plus the quick turn around in providing the LL55 certificate.
