After a plumber sent out by my home warranty splattered sewage water and excrement on my laundry room walls I called
my insurance company to get someone out to take care of the issue. I was reffered to Servpro of Lombard/Addison and
they were so quick to come to my house and look at what needed to be done. The project manager Alex was so helpful
and got on the phone with my insurance to have the work approved right there on the spot.

They took care of everything from start to finish and i could not be more happy with the results. They even managed
to have my floor tile approved by insrurance and have it installed as the concrete slab was affected by the dirty water.
They let me be involved for the most part regarding paint color and tile selection. All i had to do was pick them out and
Servpro would go out and buy it. The crew was nice and veryprofessional and finished the project within reasonable time.
Thanks to Rudy and the guys for doing a great job in my laundry room and making it look better than before.

I will be calling them back out if i ever go through this again (knock on wood)

I can’t begin to say how appreciative I am with the job Servpro did for me. My condo flooded twice from the renters above me. Right away, they were on site with me to give me a game plan and executed it flawlessly. Everyone was so kind and helpful and available all the time with any questions I had. We contacted servpro and within the hour Alex was at our door ready access the issue. From start to finish my experience with the servpro guys was great, they made things easy by handling everything with our insurance as well as keeping us in the loop. They performed mitigation and will taking care of our reconstruction.

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

A year ago we had a flood from a broken toilet while on vacation. A lot of water ran for days and did mutilevel, multiroom damage. Our insurance recommended Servpro, so we trusted them and moved forward.

Servpro demolished and removed lots of cabinets, drywall, and insulation. They ran several dehumidifiers and put the dehumidifier water drain lines in our formal dining room into our bar sink and left the property, saying they would be back in 3 days. A couple days later it was clear we couldn't sleep or work form home due to the noise. Right before I left to go to a family members house, I saw the plastic protection over the unaffected half of the dining room peeling from the ceiling and walls.

As I went to investigate, there were gallons of water on the floor of the UNAFFECTED side our our dining room. The original leak never went that far. What was going on

Servpro never took the stopper out of the sink. They pulled old water out of the floor and air, and then flooded the GOOD side our dining room. They raised the temp over 100 degrees to dry out the room, but the plastic they put up to protect the undamaged side now trapped that evaporation/moisture and STEAMED our dining room, damaging our home further, covering the cabinets and their contents with water, and their flood going all the way through custom hardwood floors into the basement and the crawlspace.

My contractor came by and used his moisture meter to show they also left behind drywall/insulation saturated with moisture well over 90%. They left pools of sitting water in the crawlspace from the original leak, which began to mold. (Not to mention adding many more gallons to the undamaged side). They never removed our contents/insulation in the crawlspace, exposing everything to mildew and mold. They never even installed a dehumidifier.

Now they drilled holes in our cabinetry attempting to dry everything out. Our insurance company and contractor agreed that these cabinets needed to be removed, doors replaced, and everything repainted. Servpro refused, and only offered to replace one cabinet of the 12+ affected. Insurance hired an independent 3rd party to assess the situation who agreed with the contractor/insurance carrier. The VP of this Servpro branch denied everyones' consensus, grew very unprofessional, delayed our rebuild by months, and offered us less than 25% of the cost to fix the damage THEY caused and only if we the homeowner sign a ridiculous non disclosure agreement. We chose that it was more important to warn our community and neighbors.

He was the ONLY person involved who didn't agree with what needed to be done.

Here we are, a YEAR later, and had to open a SECOND claim to cover Servpro's negligence in order to get our house back to pre loss condition. Having another claim opened is not good for a homeowner when renewing their policy or needing to open another claim, so we are now exposed to more risk with insurance. All of this was avoidable if Servpro had done their job correctly, any manager had checked their work, or had they stood by their mistake. But they didn't, and left us hung out to dry. The president of Servpro never responded to multiple attempts to get Servpro to open their own claim or pay to cover this.

The VP of this Servpro branch ranted and raved that we were all conspiring against him, that he would never work with this MAJOR insurance carrier again, and belligerently delayed responses and requests for information. Our very experienced contractor said they never saw anything like this before, and our MAJOR insurance carrier/adjusters agreed that this was WILDLY unprofessional and they hadn't ever had to deal with anything even remotely close to this.

While Servpro admitted their mistake, they wouldn't do the right thing and repair their damage to get us to pre-loss condition. BEWARE of this company/branch, integrity isn't their strong suit, they will do the bare minimum, and seem to just want your insurance money.

We are so grateful for the ServPro team. They were so great to work with to manage the restoration of our house after we had a fire in our dryer (caused by a birds nest!). The fire was put out by our sprinkler system - thank goodness because the fire department said we would have lost our entire second floor otherwise. But there was still a significant amount of smoke and water damage. They responded at 3am to our call and had a crew out that morning to start drying out the house. This saved our hardwood floors and got the process started asap. We are so impressed with how quickly and thoroughly they did all the work and with great detail and care. With our family, including 3 daughters, being homeless and displaced, they worked hard to get us back in as soon as possible. What could have taken 3+ months only took them 6 weeks and we moved back in just in time for the school year to start for our girls. They helped us navigate so much during what was a pretty emotional and stressful time for our family. And our house is even better than it was prior to the fire! Can’t recommend them enough!

They were very professional and they found the problem immediately they fix the problem and they have really good work ethics. All of the crewmembers that came were very polite and respectful.
