I had a very bad experience with this company, many potential caregivers should stay away from this company. First, you don’t know how many hours they are paying you, they ask you to work extra, overtime hours, and then they will call you to tell you they didn’t authorized the OT hours. The agency should be reported to Labor Department, I was working 12 hours shift, suddenly they changed to 8 hours, I had an ugly interaction with Jay, the supervisor. I worked my 8 hours, completed my shift, he asked to stay one more hour, which I did it. The new caregiver for day shift never showed up for training. I got tired, I was very sleepy, seek with allergies because the ashes from the fires, I left after 9 hours, Jay called me to cancel my assignment due to the lack of unprofessionalism, and ethics. The new caregiver was supposed to be train with the day time caregiver, but never showed up the day before. I did not got hired to be a trainer. Also, they tell you about you being assigned to one patient, but they will give you 2 patients, they don’t pay you for 2, only for one client, also, they don’t tell you about you will be taking care and be responsible for clients pet/pets, without pay, obviously. Very shady agency, stay away from it. Not worth it, my other caregivers partners, assignments, were canceled without notice nor excuses. Illegal to do that, very poor service practice. And if you work for this company, don’t you ever call them, they are very sarcastic and nasty toward you.

I have had caregivers from Lifeline for almost 3 years. I have been extremely happy with this company. They are very responsive to any issues and resolve them right away. They send me potential caregivers to interview so I can meet them ahead of time and select the one that best meets the needs we have. Our last caregiver was with us almost 2 years and cared for my husband from the time they could do gardening and home repairs together until the time he said goodbye with tears in his eyes when my husband passed away.
I can't say enough good things about Lifeline and I have recommended them to a number of people who have also successfully found caregivers through them.
