Very slow to get things fixed. Used them through a home warranty company. Made an appointment December 8th for a dishwasher leak. They originally gave me a date of the 18th of December. A few days before they extended that to the 23rd. They showed up the 23rd and said he would be back in January to make the repair. They pushed back that appointment again. They finally showed up without the part and rescheduled again they offered no sympathy for their failure nor attempted to make it right by coming back to fix it on an eveningor weekend. They then canceled the next appointment because of a snow storm that never came. They finally showed up January 27th to make the repair. Customer service is a zero with this company.

My washer has been broke now for over a month. The lid latch on my whirlpool washer broke in the beginning of January, I made an appointment for the next available technician to come out and fix it which was 2 weeks out, then they reschedule me for 3 more days out, a day before my original appointment then they came to look at my washer just to tell me I had to wait on a part to come in which took another week and now we are here. Today they came to “fix” the washer. Got home from work to wash some clothes and boom. Still. Broke. Mind you this washer is a year old and worked flawlessly before the lid latch stopped working. The customer care representative is very professional and kind so I will give them that but still extremely frustrating going on a month of not having a washing machine and getting the run around on getting my washing machine fixed. Hopefully it gets fixed is all I can say at this point but still not very high hopes

First “repair” resolved initial issue, but resulted in another. Second issue appears resolved, but it’s been only three hours. Communication/notification from Solar is excellent. Personnel are professional.

I will not recommend Solar Refrigeration & Appliance Service to anyone. It took forever to get in 2 parts for a 3 months old refrigerator that was purchased from Lowe's.
I called Lowe's after having the fridge 3 months to report that it Broke/Wouldn't Cool. I requested to have a swap. Loews said No, it's under warranty it's New. Loews told me to contact Frigidaire for repair. I called Frigidaire and they said Solar Refrigerator & Appliance would come out to repair the refrigerator. Solar said "You need 2 Parts. How long will it take to get the parts? Next week on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. I was then told middle of next week. When the parts came in and the repairman finally looked at the refrigerator and I was told that the refrigerator had to reset. I didn't see the repairman change out the two parts but I was shown a used part.
Long story short,
I'll Never Buy Anything From Lowe's, Frigidaire and Definitely Won't Let Solar Refrigerator & Appliance work on anything that I own.

I requested a service call to repair the door on microwave which would not latch. It seemed like the spring had come loose. The technician could not fix it but tried to use a rubber band to see if it would work. Since this was not feasible (and probably not safe), the only option he offered was to replace the door. Both he and I agreed it was not worth the price. So he left without being able to repair the door. After he left, I checked YouTube and found several videos. I was able to repair the door myself, which involved rehooking the spring(note: I’m over 70 years old). I called to complain. I was treated courteously but not offered any solutions. I will not call them again.

Great service! Aaron was very knowledgeable and thorough in his diagnosis and repair of my Speed Queen Washer.

One thing I wish Solar Appliance would change is forcing the customer to use a credit/debit card for the service call due to having to pay a extra fee when things are so expensive today instead of taking your routing number and account number from your checking account for the payment of the service call.
