We went to check out Sam's Club. For the most part, it was pretty disappointing. Customer service is basically nonexistent! After waitingbat the service desk for 15 minutes and being ignored, we decided to walk through the store. The prices weren't all that great on meat, cheese, produce, dairy, etc. Packages are large, so even if a person pound price was good, the overall price can be a bit overwhelming. Shredded cheese selection is wanting and pricey. Fruit is pricey as well. Selection choices are limited. There are sections for household items, clothing, and toys. Display of products is rather boring. We were thinking of getting a membership here because we live only 4.5 miles away, but after walking through, we will probably stick with Costco, which is another 4.5 miles to drive.

I have a membership at Costco as well as Sam's Club. I find pricing at Sam's Club to be lower than Costco. I love the scan and go feature when I am shopping; it has saved a lot of time with checkout. I am disappointed the shipping now has a minimum dollar amount...I use the pick up feature at times, and my orders have always been accurate. Employees have treated me with kindness and respect.

Shop here all the time and it has just gone downhill faster than a greased pig on skis in the last couple of years. Firstly, their rotisserie chickens are often underdone. Secondly, I have at least four times in the last two years purchased meat from them and got it home only to find it was beyond bad. Three times it was ground beef that always had a sickening “buttercup” flower smell and had to be tossed. Then it was a rack of lamb that was bad as soon as I opened the package. The last time it happened, I gave up buying ground beef here. None of these times did the date on the meat say expired. However, the final straw came today. It seems like whenever I come in there is the same highly unpleasant woman scanning items on the way out. She is rude to customers and completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Sam’s policies are bonkers with the scanner at the door that apparently doesn’t work enough to not need an extra nasty employee “helping” there, or the need to change carts at the self checkout. I won’t be coming in here again. Hope the woman at the door can be transferred over to shopping for the customers she scares off, because you’re going to be needing more of those kind of employees when customers stop coming in, and start ordering online for you to do their shopping for them. Plus, bonus, this will cut down on any impulse spending too, which saves me more and, subsequently, cuts down your revenue. Excellent job, Sam’s.

Love the atmosphere, friendly and costumers come first money is not the driving force when it comes to getting good service. Have not had any problems with my experience. Spent about as much time their as I had when I was a new Cosco Member, I have talked to an employee that has been working at this company for many years and he said that “ the costumer comes first, the costumer is right” this made me appreciate his dedication to see to having loyalty of costumers first before profit! Thanks Sam’s Club for a great experience , keep up the excellent work!!! Scan and go or for plus members only, and they want people to become plus members so that’s why they mark the prices down for some products because they’re plus member friendly, this is called marketing, and they are allowed to do this. So please change your reviews if you are hurt about not being a plus member. If you want to feel more special, you can pay more to feel more special at Sam’s Club, they do a great job, servicing, everyone, but plus members have a few more perks than the other regular memberships, you pay for what you get. Please do not rate Sam’s Club on just observation only get informed and then you can make an informative review. Again, Sam’s Club is doing their best to make sure that they are good customer care, representatives. Sam’s Club has done nothing illegal by dropping prices for plus members. You see this marketing strategy and many other places! Thank you Sam’s Club, valuing your members!

I am so disappointed in the new packaging and quality of product with the new chicken breasts. The packaging is a mess to get into and the chicken looks like it was scraped off the floor. It’s disgusting! The quality is absolutely awful. I used to buy chicken breasts exclusively from Sams Club. The quality was excellent and prices competitive. You could see the meat clearly so knew what you were getting. Please bring back better quality product. You’re better than this Sams Club

The prices at their food court are unbeatable! I was very impressed and all of the sanitation options throughout the store! They had a large sushi selection that is made fresh daily and tasted great! The only slightly negative thing was the wait in the food court line was 15 minutes long.

Went to get a Battery for my 4runner at about 7:20pm. Turns out the tire center closes at 7pm. I went to customer service to see if there was anyone in the store that could help me. The girl was very nice and asked over a radio communication system that they use. The voice on the other end said no have him come back tomorrow. I feel like someone in the store should be able to look up the battery and let me get it purchased. Very frustrating ?

I have been a member of Sam's club off and on for years! Recently moved to Idaho falls and like the short lines and friendly staff. I specifically go on week nights to avoid the weekend crowds.

However, tonight as I was checking out there was only one checker with a long line so, against my own wishes I opted for self check-out, which I despise! So after I scanned everything and went to put in my card to pay I got "card reader error" message several times in a row, like 8+, self check attendant told me to "try bending your card in the reader" so I did and when I put in my pin the little pin screen turned gray. So I tried 3-4 more times unsuccessfully and finally walked off with no groceries. Before moving to Idaho Falls I used the check and go exclusively but I can't get it to work in this store either and have asked several employees and they can't figure it out either.

Between the "card reader error" and my app not allowing the scan and go I'm beyond frustrated! I drove in from Rexburg just for this visit and left empty handed. I'm so tired of this "automation technology" and it's hit and miss functionality.

I don't receive a discount for using self-check or scan and go, but feel forced to use it.

In 55 years I've never left a cart of groceries, much less drove an hour round-trip for said groceries then left frustrated!

If your employee has to instruct someone on how to "insert" a credit card maybe there is a problem. Knowing of a faulty card reader and choosing to do nothing about it is very disappointing!

After leaving, I bought fuel and bought dinner using the same card with no issues!

I suppose in today's day and age this is somehow something I did wrong!

Costco is closer anyway, and has more than one checker working!
