I rented a 12 passenger van from these guys and when I went and picked it up, the girl ( who was one of the best people I have ever met) was not in the rental location. After a little research I found out that they had been kicked out of the Sheraton and she was working out of a van in the front of the hotel. She was very apologetic and said she would get me the new drop off point for the van when I returned. I received the new location on the day I was returning the van. When I got the new location it was much further away from LAX (around 4 miles). I tried to call and find out about the shuttle and no one answered. The location is now in a shady part of town where I definitely did not feel safe. Since I never heard back from AVR I was forced to call a taxi that charged me almost $30 and almost missed my flight. Again, the girl that was there when I picked the van up was such a great person I wished she lived in North Carolina so I could hire her and get her away from such a poorly run business!
