PLEASE take your car somewhere else!! We brought our car here for a simple catalytic converter, paid almost $1200 and the car never drove the same. It was loud and jerked, which it had never done. When we called was told the part was under warranty but the labor was not. Another $400 later and the car drove even worst, and was louder. Took it to another mechanic, he took one look at it stated it’s the same converter that needs to be replaced, he went on to say they had put the cheapest one they could find on it. Went back to give them the opportunity to right their wrong, Linda, the owner, was rude and unprofessional, even hung up in my face when I called. She stated your car doesn’t take the after market parts, so you will need to take it to a dealership. Well that would’ve been nice to know before taking my money. The old saying proves true, you get what you pay for. While in the shop, a gentleman was upset that his car wasn’t fixed properly also. We never asked for a refund, just wanted the work done properly which we never got. We could take them to small claims court, but I believe you rep what you sow!

I have took my car to them a few times at first they did à battery change on mu car didn't tell me that was what I needed but I paid 500 dollars this pastor year I went in because my Lexus 2000 needed work I ask them to diagnostic test énergétique up paying for tuneup and I took it in twice because of the check engine light Linda was very rude to me I ended up paying over 3000 dollars and my check engine light never went off i wouldn't recommend no one to use them they're very expensive and when I told her the light never went off she wanted le to bring it in for more money I would never trust them again be careful because you think your car is fixed but they're not register with the BB and I will never do business with them again

Our vehicle needed a starter replaced and Linda and her crew were able to take the job right away. The vehicle was towed to her shop by 8:30am, it was ready by 3:30pm!!! The price was very reasonable. I usually check 3 different places to make a decision on what would be right for our budget, Gillette was our choice, plus I knew of other people that used this company. Greatly appreciated the service and the easy going atmosphere with the staff.

I have been using Gillette Automotive periodically for over13 years. But several months ago I had it looked at due to smoking at times during start ups and Rear shocks were replaced. Well I pick up at night when I return back to town. The key was left in a lock box. The Front end right in front of hood had adeep 4 inch scratch. I had a paint job about a month earlier. Then to add to the troubles one of my lug nuts Had been left off when I went to have the tires replace. And the other 4 lugs were loose. Only reason the tire didn't come off is because the car was at the dealership getting motor replace after Gillette couldn't find anything wrong. Clean mass air flow sensor and install back on vehicle. Oh well one less customer they want have to deal with anymore!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. These people are a 10+ easy!!!! First, they’re friendly—-Linda, the owner (along with Ray, her husband), are awesome. It was such a pleasure allowing them to service my vehicle. I had recently purchased a vehicle and had put maybe 1500 miles on the transmission, when it went out!! I could feel the sincerity as Linda reached out to me because of the plight I was in—-I HAD A CAR PAYMENT AND AN UNEXPECTED REPAIR BILL!!

They were very reasonable in pricing—-I expected to pay much more. Linda kept me
Informed throughout the entire process, which did not take long at all!

If you want good work by good honest people, this is the place to go!!!

I had repairs done at another mechanic shop for my 2013 Ford Edge and my check engine kept coming on after having the repairs done and I made several attempts to get the problem fixed. I finally went to Gillette Auto Repair and they were able to finally determine the problem and fixed it. They have Great customer service and everyone there is really nice. Ms. Linda is Awesome! Thanks again for your time and getting my vehicle back to running smoothly I appreciate y’all.

My truck was taken in that had coolant leak. They replaced a couple hoses and charged $500.00 but did not replace radiator or other leaks. Very bad experience with them. Would never use again
