I found S L by googling randomly. When I read the great reviews for this place, I said to myself :"Let me try it". Great decision! The reviews were justified! The owner is extremely professional. Not only did he sharpen the 6 knives I brought him so well, that I think they are cutting better now than when they were new, but he also took the time to explain to me what I would define as "the science" behind the process of using and sharpening the knives, but what he modestly called "the logic he has learned by doing his job". He also taught me how to properly care for my knives, the different cutting boards we use, and the effect they have on the knives." , etc., etc. In short, it was a great experience, and totally affordable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

I came across this place while searching on Google SL Service, and I'm delighted with the experience. Despite their diverse offerings, I visited specifically for knife sharpening. Upon arriving at the store, Mr. Luis attended to me promptly. I waited only 8 to 10 minutes, and the service was fantastic. He skillfully fixed my knife, even addressing the tip damage. If I could give it more stars, I would highly recommend this place!

Best place in Miami to get your knives sharpened. I took 5 knives to get sharpened and the owner was very nice, told me to come back in a hour. Called me before the hour to tell me he had finished. Price is very affordable, and the knives came back razor sharp, better than new. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I’ve been suffering with the dullest knives for years. But finally bit the bullet and went to a professional. I was going to go to a place closer to my house but S L Service had such great reviews, I drove the extra 15 minutes. The owner is the nicest guy you could meet. Really honest and hard working. I had four kitchen knives, one of which had a missing tip. He fixed them in less than 20 minutes and charged me next to nothing. Definitely come here.
