This review is way overdue. I have been going to different nail salons in North Andover/Haverhill for many years. Even though I would get gel nails, my nails would always crack or break. It was so frustrating. I asked a friend where she went and she told me Tran Tran Nails in N. Andover and ask for Tran.. That was many years ago and I have been going to her ever since. As long as she is in business, I will continue to go to Tran Tran.

2.5 months later and my damaged nails from overly aggressive drill buffing have finally almost grown out. Got a dip mani - the dip itself looked good but was really disappointed to see how damaged my nails were after getting it removed. Deep ridges and extremely thin nails where they were buffed. I was also cut on one of my nail's cuticles by the drill and it was still actively bleeding quite a bit when she dipped my finger into the powder, which seems pretty unsanitary.

Would never go back - risking my nail health after waiting so long for the damage to grow out isn't worth it.

I have never left a bad review somewhere or not tipped. Today both of those things changed. The woman who did my nails was on her phone the entire time and did not pay attention to my nails. I did a French manicure the lines were not straight the shape is not what I asked for and my nails are legitimately bumpy. It took over two hours and I am incredibly frustrated. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have not had a bad experience at Tran Tran at all ever! My nail technician is Annie and she is meticulous in her technique, from the first (unexpected cancellation of another appointment but necessary) sitting I felt important and made comfortable. I was offered a glass of water or wine and given a time frame of when I would be attended to. Overall, it has been lovely and my nails are done beautifully, with patienc and care. 5 Stars for me thus far. ?

Inconsistent service and prices

My first visit was wonderful. Service was great though expensive. From that point on all subsequent visits were downhill. I don’t like having to return because my pedicure was not dry and smudged. When I returned, it always felt like I did something wrong instead of the nail technician. A pedicure done correctly should never smudge on your way home. The last visit, I was overcharged. I paid, left, and vowed to myself never to return. I would not recommend.

I went to get a dip french tip with tips and I tried 3x to get them to fix my nails and understand me. It looks like I tried to do my nails myself. Horrible work and it was so bad I had to book an appointment somewhere else to get it taken off. Never come here for a manicure its expensive and horrible quality work. Never again
